Is there a right to abortion, and if so, where does the right come from?

I see, your arguments are based on attacking people.
As I said, very very weak.
And a failure at making a point. But if that's the best you have, I guess you have to go with it.

Oh no, you don't. The statute doesn't make an exception for the life of the mother, as.you.are aiming there, but for the mere POSSIBILITY that it will harm (not end) the mother's physical or mental health.

I'd say nice try, but that wasn't nice.

Point still stands. These are the bodily resources of the mother. It doesn't matter what the specific resources are, no one is owned them.

    You don't see.

I attacked your argument that individuals have no god-given, i.e., inherent, natural rights. That is precisely what I called "The argument of the tyrant." I didn't say "You are a tyrant".

You see, tyrants do not believe individuals possess inherent natural rights, regardless of who or what those inherent natural rights are derived from. Tyrants believe that the only thing people possess are the privileges tyrants see fit to grant them, and statist authoritarian boneheads believe the same thing, too.

    Do you see now?

And nothing in the DoI or Constitution about a mother having a right to take away the right to life of her baby, another individual, a right that is EXPLICTEDLY stated.

BC at Walmart is $3 a month, why does it have to be taxpayer funded? Should condoms be taxpayer funded?

Why does the pro-abortion side always want to absolve women of all responsibilities here?

You don't know how the uterus and placenta work? And note you have moved the goal post from organs and blood now to nutrients which are not a part of the mother.

No pro-abortion pro-choice, why don't you want to prevent abortions?

Thanks for the fix............same has happened to me and didn't notice!

I rely on the science which says the human life, the human being, begins at conception. The DoI states we are CREATED with the fundamental inherent right to LIFE, that we hold theses TRUTHS to be SELF EVIDENT. That means without argument, there is no debate about it and that transcends RvW but a light year.

The DoI which states those principles upon which we are founded is quite clear. The Constitution does not contradict that.

Dude if the mothers blood ran through the umbilical cord into the babvy the vast majorities of babies in the womb would be dead. The purpose of the placenta and umbilical cord is to INSURE the mothers blood and the antibodies within it are totally separate from the baby...............Biology 101. BTW I majored in Biology through my sophomore year.

Pro-abortion and why do those on the pro-abortion side claim women should be absolved of all responsibilities?

I think we've both made our positions known and we're going to have to agree to disagree. Thanks for your time and thoughts.

No pro-abortion pro-choice, taxpayer funded BC has been proven very effective at reducing pregnancy's and thus abortions. So this would seem to be a good thing to spend taxpayer money on right?

Sorry, but everything is the government's business one way or another. The jurisprudential question here is simply which government(s). It is just that the supreme law of the land, the Constitution, puts some limits and restrictions on what governments can do and especially what the federal government can and cannot do.

I think very few have difficulties with a mother aborting even a late term pregnancy if there is a clear, convincing, and obvious medical assessment that the mother stands a good chance of dying. What they are concerned about is the mother claiming mental anguish.

A late term pregnancy, like 8.75 months? I do have difficulty with that. Can't a Caesarian save both of them? I don't pretend to know, but I'd like to see that possibility exhausted.

I don't know. An 8.75 month abortion seems untenable to me. I should have said if there is a clear, convincing, and obvious medical assessment that the mother stands a good chance of dying and there is no other alternative, which Caesarean sounds like to me.

And the choice is abortion, pro-abortion and making sure it remains legal and available for whatever reason no matter how far along the pregnancy. Again why do those on the pro-abortion side so desperately try to absolve the woman, the mother, of any responsibility. BC is cheap and easy to obtain why shouldn't the woman be responsible for taking care of herself by rely on everyone else to take care of her?

The object of abortion is dead babies not saving babies from being killed. If the mother doesn't want the baby to live for what ever reason then according to the pro-abortion side she should be able to kill it even the moment before birth.

Nope, the objective is to not be pregnant.

Yes, they are part of and from the mother. They are the nutrients that the mother's body would have used, and are now being diverted to the offspring.

Democrats’ Baby-Killing Bill Gets Aborted. “The Democrats wanted this to be a single issue that would throw votes their way in this year of desperation but one of them helped save the unborn.”

"The victory enabled in the Senate because Joe Manchin is opposed to killing babies is both something to cheer about and something to be terrified about. Every Democrat not named Joe Manchin just went all-in in on aborting babies until the end of gestation."

They can gurgle about how "moderate" they are, but the truth is in their votes. They voted for killing right up full delivery. Partial delivery and then scissors through the skull? Yeah, they voted for it. Except for Joe Manchin, the conscience of the Democrat Party.

I truly want to believe in the existence of the silenced moderate sensible Democrat senator, but, when there is a national vote, they vote their position and it speaks for itself. May God give them clarity and a heart for the most vulnerable. Killing a near and/or full term baby is simply murder.
Thank God for Joe Manchin. Thanks to Donald Trump's post election loss of focus during the GA runoff, all that has stood between us and complete insanity has been principled Joe Manchin. We are deeply indebted to this good man.
