Ok, this thread is about the Texas shooting. Was that kid a criminal before the shooting? No. Did he have problems? Oh yeah, but how are going to get him off the street.

Hmmmm, let's see. How many school bombings have we had and how many mass shooting have we had. This isn't just about school shootings. Buffalo, NY wasn't a school.

And those millions who have never been through the courts ? The ones you are worried about are out on the streets, not in jail. Think it out.

And you want see me defending it.
Nor does it have anything to do with guns.
The above is about knives and is a monthly figure. Interesting but doesn't tell us much about the permanent state of affairs.

When guns ate outlawed you can arrested them for possession.
Currently they run free and untouchable.

Are you really satisfied with the current situation in the US?
Do you enjoy the persistent sense of tension, fear, insécurité, having to look over your shoulder all the time, people dying, children being massacred?
Do you really LIKE to live like that?

    Everybody with a gun......chaos.
Really? To many gun "enthusiasts" on this forum, back in the "good old days" everyone had a gun. Which is it?
    I know
But for the sake of argument the population of Dodge City was about 1000 to 2000. That's a lot of murders.

What millions are you making up? Why would you not go after the criminals and their guns? What's it like to live in fear of the tiniest of problems?

There is likewise no constitutional basis on which to disallow hunting. And such an attempt would be politically disastrous for the sponsoring party.
As for the Supreme Court, its justices were nominated and confirmed by legitimate processes. And the court's primacy in law is not a new thing. "The Constitution is what the judges say it is." --Chief Justice Charles Evans Hughes

Maybe he was a coward doing what he did but it would not surprise me that he was also mentally disturbed. No one in their right mind would kill off certain school children even the ones that went to public school. It looks like there will be more of these incidents happening and it might come to your town unless it happened already.

    You brought it up.

I misspelled the name. My bad. I know you probably didn’t realize Australia is one of the most misogynistic countries. You also don’t know much about American firearm ownership. That’s the point.

I’m trying to educate you on the counterproductive nature of stereotyping in cases like this. I’m not going to assume you are a misogynist because you are from Australia. You shouldn’t assume things about Americans you know nothing about except what someone trying to influence you told you.

Anyone attempting to fight A10’s and Abrams with an AR-15 is a fool. Anyone using such a strawmen argument that further demonstrates the lack of knowledge of military tactics and materiel is likewise.

I am not a fool. No I didn’t watch any comedian because there is no link and I’m not inclined to search the Internet for comedy when I’m much more interested in FACTS. That’s the difference I guess between you and I. I base my life on facts and you base yours on what comedians tell you.

9-year-old says teacher played dead after being shot in Uvalde classroom (msn.com)

At least there are survivors that live to tell what went on.

I guess when a terrorist enters a grade school classroom, the terroist uses it as a combat zone or battlefield to shoot up as many and go on and kill some more. I still believe that Salvador Ramos may have been a coward, but I believe he was somewhat mentally or emotionally disturbed. That's the way I sum it up.

Well I have been here almost 50 years and maybe two murders, one was some black guy passing thru from Cali to Denver and never any kind of mass shooting. Everyone owns firearms including Women, and open carry is everywhere, but I guess there could be a first..

Church's aren't schools either and there have been churches bombed.

You keep saying the gun is the "most common denominator". It isn't. The person who is murdering nutjob, who is launching the attack is the MOST common denominator.

Until all the criminals, thugs, gang bangers and felons are relieved of their firearms, YES! And I bet where I live in the U.S. we have less violent crime then where you live and everyone here are multiple gun owners, all law abiding of course :) It really isn't the gun, it's the type of people certain area's attract..

Then again I have proven you wrong on guns in your country, all that's happening now is you have a large group of illegal gun owners running around under the radar..

There's no constitutional right to abortion, either. Is it?

No, I'm not. That's why I've contact my elected representatives to tell them to get tougher on crime and get dangerous criminals off the street.

Unless he commits a crime, yes u're not. That's why there's no proposed law that would have prevented this shooting and it highlights, even more, the need for beefing up school security.

There have been plenty of people in the past who shouldn't have been walking around free, at all. Nevermind if they had a gun, or not. Just like when all those convicts we're released during the pandemic. That was ****ing stupid.

They released convicted murders who were serving multiple life sentences. And you wonder why crime went up?

Are you saying Biden's life is worth more than my life, or my kids' lives? Is Biden's life worth more that your family's lives?

It is funny. I like standup. And I really like it when it isn’t worried about offending people. That’s what makes it good.

Unfortunately much of his premise is false. But that’s OK, he’s a comedian and that’s part of making things funny. I’ll laugh with you, but I will stick to facts when it comes to firearm policy. It would be nice if you could debate the facts, but unfortunately you seem ill equipped…no worries.

No background check being proposed would have stopped the Uvalde shooter from buying a gun. Raising the age limit would have just postponed the event.

Drinking isn't a right, although it's a stupid law. Keeping and bearing arms is a fundamental right.

Do you think the first priority is to make the schools more secure?

Good luck with that. You'll see the murder, assault, robbery and rape rates increase like a MFer.

Should women be totally defenseless against a rapist? Are you one of those "just lay there and take" folks.
