Yet you forgot to mention out of those illusionary 212 mass shootings, 105 of those had no fatalities and 85 had one fatality totaling 190 of them.

I think the spike in 2020-21 is temporary and was due to Covid impact. Other than that crime (including gun crime) has been in steady decline since 1990s and even with the Covid spike we are still well below the 1990s numbers.

 

If the Brady campaign provides good data, there would have been 16761 shootings this year so, yes, 212 is minuscule. Chicago has more than by itself.

 

For some it's cheaper than being healthy. But then it's not about the cost you have to pay. It's about the one you're trying to avoid.

People produce their own firearms because the government will shoot rubber bullets at them if they try to protect their own property during a riot over police brutality.

It's your job to protect yourself and your loved ones from all the nonsense the world has to throw at you. You want to contract that responsibility out to someone else, cool, but you don't get to force other people to do that too. They're going to want to provide for their own safety and security rather than trust you (and the rules you want to make) to take care of them.

 

What you're telling me is that in your experience you found out what was wrong by some kind of random striking.
if you had to associate that strike with something else, then presumably you were somehow told what is was.
In the case of the child getting poor school feedback, they already knew it was poor before they got beaten didn't they?
