Are there any arrests? A large group of pro-abortion demonstrators took over the Capitol Building in Madison, Wis., on Wednesday in a manner that reminded some of an “insurrection” on par with the Jan. 6 incident at the U.S. Capitol Building. https://patriotdetroit.com/columnis...-abortion-protestors-invade-wisconsin-capitol
Told you it would be overturned. It should never have been passed in the first place. Now we have all these folks losing their minds. Why are folks upset babies have rights now?
Because they were not able to use the government to force their beliefs on others. I think it is hilarious!
There seems to be a common misconception about what the Roe case allowed. It did not allow for abortion at any time because even the Court at the time of Roe vs Wade recognized the principle of viability. https://www.insider.com/guides/health/reproductive-health/fetal-viability So, even with Roe, women did not have total "freedom" over their "body". At some point the viability of the fetus took presidence over the woman's "rights". Since Roe was decided the point of viability has become lowered due to medical advances. Bottom line - abortion is not an absolute right even with Roe.
Got anything else? You certainly haven't addressed anything that I've written... Ramble on, my friend. You may now have the last word.
Because it violates the rights of the body of the person that it needs to become a human. Are you willing to waive your medical rights to your body because somebody else thinks they know what's best for you and what's taking place inside you? If not, why not?
Welcome to the real world. When you find women getting abortions in states respecting women, you'll be soon enough trying to pass a national ban. If you succeed, women will travel to Canada where there is no law against abortion. Canada will be a great source of mifepristone and misoprostol. Roe didn't prevent that. It still allowed regulation of abortion based on what trimester the parasite carrier was in.
How about those of us who want women to control their bodies, let people protect themselves with firearms, and want to end the idiotic "war on drugs?"
What pile of crap. Joe Biden was an architect of the war on drugs, and the Left Controls both Houses of Congress and the Presidency, and not for the first time, why haven't they ended the war on drugs? https://www.vox.com › policy-and-politics › 2019 › 4 › 25 › 18282870 › joe-biden-criminal-justice-war-on-drugs-mass-incarceration Joe Biden's long record supporting the war on drugs and mass ... "Biden was a major Democratic leader in spearheading America's war on drugs during the 1980s and '90s. Biden's criminal justice record is filled with support for the war on drugs and mass ..."
Biden was part of the group that launched the War on Drugs. I've always been part of the right and I've voted for legalization or medicalization or whatever was on the ballot to move marijuana toward legalization, at every single opportunity. I don't used the stuff, tried it, hated it, but, if I felt like it, I do not see where government has a legitimate power to second guess my choice.
