Cory Bush said the ruling is racist. What else is new? Tweet See new Tweets Conversation Cori Bush @CoriBush Abortion care IS health care. It was so before this. And it will remain so after this. We don’t care what a far-right extremist Supreme Court that is in a crisis of legitimacy says. Your racist, sexist, classist ruling won’t stop us from accessing the care we need. 8:22 AM · Jun 24, 2022·Twitter for iPhone
Abortion should be considered a medical procedure up to the woman. Roe v. Wade was wrong because it didn't flat out overturn abortion laws.
We don't care what she says "we" the people need. WTH is she? Time some of these partisan, race-card-playing zealots realize the Supreme Court is a part of the Judicial, one of three but equal branches of the federal government. Just heard that Sandy Cortez, AOC, is screaming at a protest that the SC decision is ILLEGITIMATE. This should all age so well.
Just thought I’d cast this out and see what I can reel in. The penalty for killing a bald eagle or damaging it’s eggs starts at $5000. There are so many things I’d like to point out, so many contradictions, so much hypocrisy, but I won’t. Criminal penalty[edit] The criminal penalty stipulation was increased from a maximum fine of $500 and six months imprisonment to a maximum fine of $5,000 and one year's imprisonment. Furthermore, in the case of second conviction, the penalty was increased to $10,000 fine and two years imprisonment. The maximum amount of a misdemeanor offense was increased $100,000 under the Criminal Fines and Improvement Act of 1987. In addition, $250,000 will be fined for an individual for a felony conviction. Respectively, $200,000 and $500,000 will be fined in case of an organization for a misdemeanor and felony conviction.[2]
Nothing. I have sympathy for the innocent one in that situation. You have sympathy for the guilty one. So I’ll ask you. Wtf is wrong with you?
"The right to practice medicine is a privilege granted by the state. Each state has laws and regulations that govern the practice of medicine and specify the responsibilities of the medical board in regulating that practice. These regulations are laid out in a state statute, usually called a medical practice act." https://journalofethics.ama-assn.org/article/role-state-medical-boards/2005-04 We can all thank Harry Reid for this moment. Also "Stupid" Chuck Schumer. Stupid Chuck "led an indisputably stupid attempt to filibuster Neil Gorsuch’s appointment to the Supreme Court in 2017, which led to McConnell’s retributive rule change that used Reid’s precedent to free up Gorsuch’s confirmation vote. That led directly to the confirmations of Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett too, giving the court its current 6-3 conservative lineup." Nancy Misses The Rich Irony. "Harry Reid’s dark and partisan extremism started it all, though. Congrats to all the Senate Democrats who fell into a completely obvious and predictable trap in 2013. Well done. "
Nope, I'm not a party, and I'm not in the party you're talking about any more than I'm in your regressive, oppressive party.
Wow, the DOJ is stepping out of line and disagreeing with the courts… just wow…. If the legislative branch can do the executive branches job and the executive branch is bucking the judicial branch… what is our country becoming? Garland added the Department of Justice "strongly disagrees" with the court's ruling and will "work tirelessly to protect and advance reproductive freedom." https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2022/06/24...ngly-disagrees-with-supreme-court-ruling.html https://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/atto...-supreme-court-ruling-dobbs-v-jackson-women-s
I love when they try to call it a parasite. They like to reinvent definitions according to their desires.
You can both recognize the right to live and the requirement for the care to be on the parent simultaneously. They're not mutually exclusive. 94% of pregnancies are because people can't be bothered to use contraception consistently, or at all.
one should recall that all the repeal of roe did was punt the decision making process back to the states from whence it should never have left.
We could have a handle on it if it weren't for cons. Access to free birth control reduces abortion rates – Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis (wustl.edu)
If they riot this weekend, start fires, hurt people, the Dems lose any chance they had in the mid-terms. Remember the BLM riots? Now BLM is about as welcome anywhere as a turd in a punchbowl.
Birth control pills were made legal in the 1960s, so yeah. If you'd been taking birth control the condom slip wouldn't have mattered. By the way, he knew when the condom came off. All men do.
I'll have to disagree. In that case, civil disobedience is called for. Government is only legitimate if it protects individual rights and freedoms. The right to decide what happens to your body is most certainly included.
There are a lot of young women upset. They're upset about the fact that Roe v Wade has been overturned by the Supreme Court and there are many more states that have banned abortions in their states. If by chance Trump is back in the White House, abortions will be banned totally and that isn't right. It's like turning back the clock and taking rights away from certain people. It just isn't right at all.
Really. Which conservatives have called for a reduction in "free birth control". Remember when you argue that 94% of abortions are because people don't use abortion consistently, or at all.
"Contraception"...? That's the bowsprit of your argument? Well, if your idea of a woman's RIGHT to control her entire own body is somehow entangled with mere 'contraception', then YOU "haven't addressed anything that I've written", either....
