Are we to just assume which rights fall under the 9th now? Was the 9th provided so anyone could decide what certain rights means? Are we going to make it up as we go along? The Amendment referred to the natural liberty rights of the people as individuals, which are also referred to in the Declaration of Independence, state bills of rights, and Madison’s proposed addition to the Preamble. It also refers to rights granted by state laws, which could then be preempted by federal laws under the Supremacy Clause. We don't get to decide from day to day what rights are covered and when the constitution was written, I am pretty sure abortion clinics were not a hot topic. If we are to assume the 9th is provided to pre-emptively decide what rights are included, then you wouldn't have a president trying to mandate a vaccine. For example, why would you need HIPAA laws
It's plain English, not difficult to understand IMO. An exhaustive listing of the rights of men and women is impossible. Under the US system, liberty grants power, NOT power grants liberty. We The People created the government. We surrendered certain rights so that the government would have certain enumerated powers to function. POTUS usurping power is an absurd comment as to rights and powers as addressed in the 9th and 10th Amendments. Men holding power OUGHT to be mistrusted. Madison was smarter than many Americans today.
Which is why those rights are listed in state laws. Not just some obscure idea. So every Justice on constitutional law in the last 50 years got it wrong but you got it right? .
My point is that there are circumstances where a woman is unaware she has been raped, may not even be sexually active, may even consider themselves to be a virgin, and discover possibly 10 weeks after the event that they are pregnant. If some reports are to be believed, if a woman finds herself in that situation, and tries to have an abortion, she could be criminalised, as a victim of a crime she becomes a criminal. Here is an example of the kind of thing I have been referencing: https://www.maidenhead-advertiser.c...awareness-after-suspected-needle-spiking.html
Abortions haven't been outlawed. So there's that. He takes credit for nominating justices to SCOTUS. He said in the debates that Roe would probably be overruled. But the possibility has existed for some time, because the basis for Roe has been criticized by scholars.
Trump was against abortions because his talking points manual said to be and because the religious right is and they support him as part of their ongoing effort to accomplish the most hypocritical thing any religion has ever done. Trump thinks lawyers are guys he pays to help him **** subs. He wouldn't know a legal scholar if one bit him on his ample ass.
Let me see if I understand your current position. Are you suggesting that all women should be obliged to take a monthly pregnancy test? If you are suggesting that, the three immediate questions that occur to me are: Can we be certain they will always be 100% reliable? How is the mandatory system funded? If a woman (or girl?) refuses to take a monthly pregnancy test, are they then criminalised?
You will have 6 tests within that time. The women's club can sell popcorn for funds. Refusal renders ineligible for abortions.
Even the most obnoxious rightwing extremist is okay with some abortions. I'm talking about a healthy woman aborting a healthy fetus. It's her body and none of our business. As I said, you're not going to win on abortion. No amendment is necessary. You aren't going to stop women from having elective abortions (healthy woman, healthy fetus) any more than anti-gun types will be able to round up firearms. Laws banning abortion and laws banning guns won't matter. No amount of you twisting what I wrote is going to help your plan to subjugate women. They might or might not be raped. Arming women is not a panacea for rape. Indeed, why would I, especially when I made no such suggestion? Why would you continue making up positions for me? What on earth is a "fantasy rape abortion trade?" Are you okay?
As I said, your wunnerful "help" centers have an agenda they push on vulnerable women. IMO, you share much with outfits like Hezbollah and Hamas who provide charity for poor people under their thumb.
No, 6 tests in 6 weeks. Why would there be "the funds" anyway? Women can buy their own tests like they do currently.
Educational videos are not religious doctrine. They are videos on infant care, breast feeding, changing diapers, medical treatments, ect. as I stated. Sorry its so far over your head but I'm not surprised. Pretty much the same reason you only have 9400 likes out of 34,000 post. Not many agree with your doctrine, do they.
Totally absurd and disconnected from reality. Exodus 20:16 ... a mortal sin. Pregnancy centers brainwashing vulnerable women ... despicable.
nope but I am not going to rewrite the constitution because of a few lynchings. Those who engage in such actions need to get LWOP
Trump didn't need a talking points manual, let's get that straight. He isn't Biden, who can't make a speech. Trump gave plenty of speech without a teleprompter.
So, who said they are? Then there are the messages that come with the video info. Argumentum ad populum I've seen the psychological harm caused pregnancy centers.
