I know there are people who have a problem with it. I've seen random posts. But is there an actual movement of people who aren't insane nutjobs? And are there elected officials actually talking about it? People who openly talk about it aren't the most "balanced" type. Usually screws loose, like those who claim women everywhere are going to be dying with the new RvW decision. The most amusing ones are the big, blue haired uglies screaming about abortions, yet, I'm not thinking any of them will ever have to worry about such a problem=) Getting pregnant I mean.

As usual, you lie, er, forget that Trump said some complementary things about the ANTIFA (anti-fascist, my ass) protestors in Charlottesville, too.

I don’t know, I think it’s picking up steam….we agree there is no right to it, correct?

I don't think there is any constitutional right to it, but I don't see why anyone would want to make it illegal. If you do or don't do it, its truly not hurting anyone. It would be like making piercings or tattoos illegal. Mostly harmless, with rare cases of medical complications. Its certainly more pleasing to look at from a woman's perspective, when its come up in conversation, hehe.

    You mean this?
"In Jewish law, abortion is required if necessary to protect the health, mental or physical well-being of the woman"

The law Desantis signed allows exceptions for the health of the woman. This case will go nowhere.

As usual, Leftists conflate and just make up ****. Just like the "Don't say Gay" bill. Normal people see something that protects children from predators and allows parents to know what's going on. Leftists see the rIghts of pedophiles being infringed upon=)

Ah yes, if you haven’t witnessed it then it isn’t true.

You didn't answer the question either.

They argue it does hurt the person and has no medical need. Lol yah there is def a preference from the women I’ve known.
So my question is, if a state did ban it, would there be a religious freedom issue?

I know. It's like their minds have been trained to shut down whenever facts are shown to them.

Are you ignoring the word mental?

Are you ignoring the exception "prevent serious injury to them."? That could very well fall under the "mental" aspect. But each case under that exception would have to be evaluated.

People argue a lot of things with no rational or logical thought. Parents have the right to authorize surgery on their children they deem necessary. I'd have to do some research, but I'm not sure what legal authority any state has to ban it. Like I said, it would be like banning piercings or tattoos or nose jobs. Why?

That’s not what the law says. It specifically says physical impairment.

Legal authority? If it’s not a right, they can do whatever they want…..right?

Of course states can ban religious practices when they conflict with generally-applicable laws. People who want to practice the Aztec religion aren't free to sacrifice their neighbors. People who might want to stone adulterers under their religious interpretation are not free to do so. Ditto for people who want to kill their unborn child (at least under circumstances where their state has prohibited it). "But it's my religion" doesn't give any of the people in the aforementioned examples an "out" to break the law and get away with it.

Every state has laws protecting abortions for medical reasons.
    No state has banned abortions
What is it these people don't get

Odd that religion was not an issue when they were accepting the pickle!

Good thing that you're the only one talking about human sacrifice, and most likely just so you could make your Aztec joke.

So laws saying you can’t discriminate against gays, means a Christian baker has to make that cake for a gay wedding?
laws saying you have to cover contraception also apply to hobby lobby and Catholic groups?

    What religion says no sex?
A: one that isn’t around anymore because their flock didn’t make more of them

I thought they frowned on sex outside of wedlock.
