Except win our independence and brought a constitution and a bill of rights to the people.
So you can stop trying to conflate murders with gun lovers.
It ain't workin for ya. It only proves you have nothing but made up bias because you can't support your claims with fact.

348 mass shooting so far this year.
1 stopped by a good guy with a gun. What about that is fake.

You don't get to call every shooter a mass shooter just because they have a gun. lol
Out of your fake 348 mass shooting number, over 290 involved 1 or 2 fatalities.
And you can't name one (other than a suicide) that wasn't stopped by a good guy with a gun. lol

How many of those shootings were in "gun free zones" to keep that number low? Criminals (and politicians) prefer unarmed victims.

Thank god or he would've been killed by a pedo felon with an illegal firearm or a skateboard wielding felon.

That is a scurrilous and deliberate lie. What I and all gun controllers want is for the murderous gunman to have been unable to arm himself so as to randomly and senselessly kill people. In the typical fashion of your unfeeling ilk you totally ignore the 3 dead that the evil assassin massacred in your gleeful praise of the truly heroic rescuer. This man did a brave and exemplary thing no question, but the much better accomplishment would be to not have the entire incident happen in the first place.

So you're saying we should have armed the children?

So long as the 2A remains in effect (certain for the foreseeable future) there is no possibility to make it impossible for a gunman to arm himself.

if you guys would just take the guns from the criminals this wouldn’t happen, would it? You wouldn’t need to bother regular citizens at all!

why won’t you try that first? Thanks in advance since you won’t actually do any of it.

In Switzerland the ammunition for all guns is stringently regulated and its use is closely monitored. In Switzerland everyone has a gun since everyone is technically an actual member of the Swiss Military (not just a vague "militia" noone has ever heard of) and they practice regularly which is about the only unregulated use of guns the citizenry is allowed. Switzerland is in all respects a special case and reasoning from it is totally erroneous and specious.

We're TRYING to do just that, but the minute we actually try to prevent ANYONE from getting guns your ilk are out screaming 2nd Amendment and "cold dead fingers" so loud nobody can hear little kids crying as they bleed to death.

I disagree. Several Supreme court decisions still in effect (for now) make it quite possible to regulate firearms effectively on a Federal level. The Republican Cadre in Congress, however, makes that almost impossible, yet another reason they have to go.

No, I'm inviting the law abiding to help law enforcement and aid legislators to write enforceable laws.

So you’re not gonna start with the bad guys? They’re the most dangerous of all by every percentage.

We do indeed disagree. So long as gun ownership is constitutionally protected, shooters will get guns.

    Hi, Vote4Future.

I'm not sure how the situation in Switzerland applies to the contention that having more guns in a society decreases gunshot deaths. I would appreciate a formal step-by-step explanation.

    Regards, stay safe 'n well 'n un-shot.

    Hi, mdrobstar.

One need but look at whether our federal legislators welcome gun-carrying 'good guys' into the visitor galleries when Congress is in session.

    Regards, stay safe 'n well 'n un-shot.

Thank you for proving me correct. Again.

You know your statement, above, is false, because you know nothing in that article demonstrates the necessity for and efficacy of such a ban.
    Disagree?
Copy and past the text to that effect.
Don't worry -- we all know you know you cannot, and your response will prove it.
Obviously you're just trying to change the subject - because of the fact that you can't support your assertion
Which, of course, we expect EVERY time you are called to do so.

I'm all for the castle doctrine and even some people to carry, but certainly not all.
