First the media said the Chinese economy is collapsing. Then they said the Russian one is. Yet the reality is it’s us in the west that are in, or very near, a recession. The Covid lockdowns and now sanctioning a major energy supplier had crippled us.

Russia doesn’t give a toss, India and China will buy all the spare oil they have and China will keep on pumping out the cheap products we can afford as our economies and wages stagnate. We’re cheering for our own economic suicide.

It might be news to some, but its old news with a sprinkling of common sense. It just doesn’t fit into the infighting going on.

 

They've been saying the Chinese economy was going to collapse for the last decade. Then they'll say that if China has ONLY 6% yearly growth it's a sure collapse. ****ing dumb. The Chinese economy isn't going to collapse as long as we keep sending all out wealth there buying all the crap we no longer make.

When all else fails, they parade out Gordon Chang....and his book "The coming collapse of China". He predicted a collapse before 2011....but they never ask him why it hasn't happened.

The media also keeps saying 'the ukraine' is winning.

 

Which division of the FSB do you work for? Do you get to suck on Putin on a regular basis? How much do you make in Rubles per year?

 

We used to rely on Middle East oil, but I don’t think they’re too happy with us after what we did there. Even Saudi Arabia is now straying from the fold. Never mind, we had Russian energy and now we’ve messed that up. Despite pointing fingers at everyone else around the world, it just seems that everything that is now happening to us is our fault.

Instead of being nice and encouraging the world, we’ve spent the past two decades falling out with it and living in a fantasy world. The world outside the west is beginning to distance itself from us and we’re now paying for it.

 

You know, sometimes when reading posts I think we’re living in alternative universes. From, there are no Nazi militias in Ukraine, to the US wasn’t in Syria and onto Ukraine is winning the war … The level of low information is frightening. Who’s putting this sort of stuff in heads? I’m not a big fan of google, but even a cursory search dispels all those myths instantly without needing someone else to do it.

The problem with using google as a primary source is that whatever answer you come up with, someone, somewhere, has an opposite answer. You could spend pages arguing the earth is round with someone from the flat earth society who will give you endless links its flat. What’s missing is common sense.

An army that loses every battle it fights is not winning the war. The images, documentaries and Nazi insignia on uniforms should give a hint that there are Nazi militias in Ukraine. The leader of a country that in living memory lost an estimated 26 million fighting Nazis is very unlikely to be a Nazi himself. Whatever your opinion, the missing link is common sense.

 

A debate is similar to a court trial. Each side puts its facts on the table. Your opinions, those of others and what someone else said don’t count. It’s why these things drag on for 87 pages because every single piece of hearsay and nonsense available on the Internet is used to try to prove as fact a point that is obviously a personal opinion.

The USSR doesn’t exist, honestly, it collapsed 30 years ago. It’s not a conspiracy theory, it made world news headlines in December 1991. It’s why it’s now called the Russian Federation and not the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.

The Ukrainians have lost every battle they’ve fought against the Russians. It’s not a rumour and they didn’t nearly lose. How on earth from that does anyone reach the conclusion they’re going to win the war? Is it a repeat of Hitler sitting in his underground bunker in Berlin in April 1945 saying, “keep going boys we’re winning.”

It’s 2022, how can anyone still not know basic knowledge living in an Internet age in a first-world society. It beggars belief!

Azov, no less! I think it's pretty clear who the real naZis are.

 

If Azov got them, they won't remain alive for long and their deaths won't probably be quick ones. The Azov Nazis Russia captured are already being interrogated for war crimes and no doubt will get their just deserts shortly. The Russians are already calling it a 'Nuremberg 2.'

If a country allows Nazi militias to join its armed forces, expect nasty things to follow. I note your use of “these animals.” Have faith, the Russians will sort it out.

 

So, a real Ukrainian as opposed to the Galician Nazis running "the ukraine"

Regarding the Ukrainian Army, here's a bit about what the Russians have found in the blood samples of captured Ukrainians.

To be fair, I’m always a bit skeptical of these anonymous stories that pop-up, but things that are allegedly going on in Ukraine will be uncovered eventually and I think there will be some red faces among the gullible who thought Ukraine was some sort of western social justice warrior paradise. If any army incorporates Nazi militias into its ranks what comes out of it won’t be pleasant.

 

I don't see that as being anonymous. It is a report from the Russian military on what they've found in blood samples taken from 16000 captives.

Of course in the mainstream media it is fashionable to declare all things from Russia to be false, but I don't believe much that MSM says, and I don't think the way they want me to think.

I suspect the information is true and accurate, just like the phone conversation of Victoria Nuland that the Russians recorded back in 2014. The Russians have taken several dozen US biolabs during the last several months, and they've captured thousands of Ukrainians. I take it at face value.

 

well being sceptical of what you read is a good thing but surely someone deliberately manipulating information in order subvert reality must piss you off a bit?? So to be fair Russian main stream media is following a Kremlin dictated narrative otherwise it wouldn't be "mainstream" it would have been shut down and its owners and editors arrested....so generally what you see from Russian mainstream media is fanciful at best and manipulative at worst. All you have to do is look at how they're manipulating their economic data at the moment. Prior to Feb it used to be spot on and the various ministries were very good a publishing their key data as it was obviously needed by the wider banking/finance community but now most of it just looks odd against historical and counterparty data (which they can't manipulate). I know a few here are whooping it up on superficial metrics like exchange rates etc which is weird as its only government transactions that are feeding the forex exchanges - there is an almost 80-90% drop in "official" forex transactions in Russia which indicates that their industrial metrics must be dire....but the "official" data.....well. For a real life view the black market rates bear no resemblance to the "official" rates so there is this asymmetric view which has to be questioned.

So yes its basically a given that pretty much all what you get out of Russia has an agenda attached to it and is released as a bolster to a narrative. I know you've got your conspiracy hat on which is fine but even you must be able to read the teal leafs...if their main TV channel's senior editors and presenters are being arrested for not following the narrative surely that must tweak a hair in the nostrils?
