The feds have been asking Trump to return the documents since he left office. Biden didn’t enlist the feds to raid Mar-a-lago, thats jut more right wing nutbaggery. Those documents belonged to the federal government, as designated by the Presidential records act. But lets be honest, Trump wanted them because he knew that many of these documents showed he was most likely breaking laws, or at the least, being shady AF.

All he needs to know is what constitutes probable cause that a crime has been committed . It happens every day all across America. Trump does not deserve any 'higher' a magistrate, than a anyone else suspected of commiting a crime.

 

You don’t think Biden would have been told about the search of a former presidents house? First of all, it’s a national security issue. Second of all, Biden is immediately told about mass shootings that are highly publicized, so why not this? And third, this search now sets the bar for what the next president might do, so Garland had to run it by Biden to see if he wanted to take that risk. Garland probably didn’t explain it that way to Biden as not to insinuate he ever did anything wrong and whoosh, it went right over his hair plugged head.

Trump ally Representative Scott Perry says that the FBI seized his phone the day after agents raided Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida. The Republican congressman from Pennsylvania told Fox News that FBI agents approached him on Tuesday with a warrant and demanded that he handed over the phone.

“This morning, while traveling with my family, 3 FBI agents visited me and seized my cell phone. They made no attempt to contact my lawyer, who would have made arrangements for them to have my phone if that was their wish,” Mr Perry said.

“I’m outraged — though not surprised — that the FBI under the direction of Merrick Garland’s DOJ, would seize the phone of a sitting Member of Congress. My phone contains info about my legislative and political activities, and personal/private discussions with my wife, family, constituents, and friends. None of this is the government’s business.”

That would have been a losing bet. I would not have been happy if Trump had used the power of his DOJ to lock her up. I didn’t know those cute little cartoon minions were Trump supporters! Yes, all depends on a point of view.

However, I was very happy when the glass ceiling didn’t break because all of that falling glass could have hurt her. Trump’s win allowed her to gaze up in amazement at all of those falling balloons instead of glass.

My point of view is innocent until proven guilty in a Court of Law. And the appeal process if needed.

What I find strange is when people are so willing to overlook the Legal Process in favor of all kinds of alleged suspicious crimes when it’s not “their” guy that they voted for.

Neither Hillary or Trump have been tried in a Court of Law and both are innocent until proven guilty in A Court of Law. My point of view.

As for example, the irony that Trump accused Clinton of being a threat to the security of the country and that it was at his home that the FBI came to seize 15 boxes of highly confidential documents.

All Trump is doing is trying to blame everybody but him. Whether President Biden knew about the raid or not is not the issue here. The issue is really doing the FBI have probable cause to search or not. Let's get that out of the way first instead of trying to create alternate realities here.

A: When President Trump signed a 2018 law making it a felony.

 

Garland is in trouble because he used a magistrate to undercut the normal Federal judicial pecking order. In other words, he knew that he was on thin ice to begin with.

This alone can get the anything that the FBI presents thrown out of a grand jury.

They are liars. This was not about "classified" information and it was not about the Presidential Records Act.

Prosecutors lie all the time about the reason for a search warrant. "As long as agents are conducting a legitimate search, they are authorized to seize any obviously incriminating evidence they come across." Even though the warrant was ostensibly about something else entirely, "prosecutors can use the evidence" of other crimes found during the pretextual search.

Someone turned on Trump. The FBI knew things that caused them to go to a federal judge and that caused a federal judge to issue this search warrant. Who is the person close to Trump that turned on him? I wonder if Trump knows who in his inner circle is talking to the FBI?
