    Every citizen can have a search warrant issued against them, if there’s sufficient evidence to support that search warrant.

    That’s the whole point. The law applies to everyone, even to a former president.

    Or are you saying that certain people should be above the law?

    burning down billions in American businesses,
    taking over the city of Seattle,
    burning down federal buildings,
    illegally removing statues,
    blocking interstate traffic,
    destroying a historical church in DC,
    putting out assassins to kill Republican supreme court justices,
    holding soviet style committees refusing to allow cross examinations or testimony of key witnesses
    or breaking all precedent in over 200 years by raiding a former presidents home for archive documents

    If Trump goes to jail, democrats will have to hope that they remain in power for the rest of time because there’s certainly enough out there to put Biden and his son there next as soon as they are no longer in power. And maybe we’ll go after Hillary too then.

    I think it is fair to say that with so many independent-from-each other investigations, lawsuits and the like against the former President not only being underway, but now picking up stream, not only has he already had a very bad week, but rather, it is likely to get worse and worse for him.

    Presidents can declassify information. Unless Trump allowed someone to see a document he didn't declassify that wouldn't be mishandling classified information.

    All that remains to be seen. The investigators never should have left Trump with the classified documents. After it was noticed in June some of the documents were classified why did the investigators leave them with Trump?

    This is nothing more than political assassination of an opponent the Washington swamp fears. If the swamp creatures win eventually they will come for everyone who opposes them. Everyone thinks the expanded IRS will only go after the rich.
