Sure, like you denounced the bomber from Florida and many others. After each one of these incidents there are all kinds of defensive posts. Maybe I should alter my statement to "Trump supporters" instead of the GOP. The GOP is just putting up with it rather than denounce Trump, out of fear of the Trump supporters.
One nut attacking the FBI is no more a civil war than a guy in a fuzzy hat is an insurrection. It does show how attacking armed people works out for the would-be killer!
There is no reason for anyone to be pissed off at the FBI over them pursuing criminal investigations against Trump. People saying that there is are part of the problem.
Whenever you suspect that those in authority are abusing their powers should we just shut the hell up?
Yeah, but it is talk. FBI, state, and local police should be prepared for the lone wolf sort of thing, but most of yall will still be in the rear with the rest of the women and children LOL.
No Civil War... no way. However, if things continue to go down this Loonie-tunes, hyperliberal pathway, it is conceivable that some states may try to SECEDE. But no fighting, and no real hostilities. After all, a civil war would so badly upset the real power-bloc that rules everything of importance in America -- the Federal Reserve central bank combine....
The issue isn't pursuing criminal investigations. The issue is doing so in a completely different way than other political figures are treated. While nobody should be above the law (unless you're a Clinton) then, likewise, nobody should be beneath equal treatment, such as Trump is. Donald Trump was subject to unfair, highly biased "investigation" ever since he announced his campaign for president. He was subject to a three year "investigation" based on information that the FBI KNEW to be manufactured by the Clinton campaign. Now, apparently, he's got FBI informants in his home...he's being spied on. After the most high profile raid in US history we still don't have ANY information from the DoJ or FBI regarding WHY they conducted the raid. Word is that they were searching for documents but if the documents were so high level that getting them required a raid then there should have been a statement at least by 48 hours after and charges should have been levied since everyone seems to KNOW he committed a heinous crime. We have a NY State AG that ran on a platform of "getting" Trump. James claims that she KNOWS Trump is guilty of something and has sworn to find evidence to prove her claim. That isn't justice and it damned sure isn't equal justice. There has NEVER been a politician so subjected to the abuse of government authority than Trump has been. None even close and none where the "crimes" presumed have been so completely baseless. Yeah, the FBI is biased. Highly biased and, frankly, needs to be cleared out. There is no place in a free nation for a federal law enforcement branch to be used as a tool of the politicians. That's a thing of banana republics, not of free nations.
*LOL* Silly claim. The FBI's job is to carry out search warrants. They did their job. The Orange Stain is not above the law.
I know it's not unreasonable to try to tie this to the raid at Mara Logo, but you have zero evidence of that being the case.
Did you share the same opinion about the guy who showed up at kavanaugh's house intent on assassinating him? But let me guess that's different somehow?
Well, when the government doesn't follow the rules, you have to expect the people to not follow the rules. Remember the BLM riots? Lots of elected officials and members of the bureaucracy condoned that behavior. There were even Army officers publicly sympathizing with the rioters.
I don't chase rabbits down their comfort holes with really bad whataboutisms. Deflecting whataboutisms is not a counter point.
Even that is fantasy since there is no provision, since the Civil War, where the States can secede, even if you interpreted the 9th and 10th amendments that way. Bear in mind, that when Texas seceded from Mexico and became an independent nation, it was still overrun by Native Americans, it was deeply heavily in debt, and it was not a very fun place to live despite what Hollywood portrayed. Besides, any successful secession must be done through force and force alone while winning in the end. The federal government will still own the military bases, still have federal land, still control the airways, the TSA, and so forth. What will the states have? Will power? Or their version of Juche?
