Posts on Truth Social in which users call for civil war and advocate for violence against the FBI remained online Friday, some of them days after they were originally posted, according to a search by NBC News.

Truth Social, the Twitter-like social media platform backed by former President Donald Trump's media and technology company, was thrust into the national spotlight Thursday after it was found that Ricky Shiffer, the man who attempted to break into an Ohio FBI building with a nail gun while armed with a rifle, had posted violent threats against the FBI on the platform.

Shiffer's profile was no longer publicly available as of Thursday night, but posts from other users that contained similar vitriol were still visible Friday.

Pravda Social lives up to my nickname for it. The now-dead Pravda forum was full of similar violent extremist rhetoric, but for many years prior and centered more overtly around anti-Semitism, but otherwise disturbingly similar to the vitriolic social media platforms that have been breeding trumpism and the kind of violent extremism we have now seen on multiple occasions. Pravda Social is and will continue to be a radicalizing force as long as it continues to operate as it is currently, and that extremism will continue to work its way elsewhere and spread further into other social media and into more violent action, a gangrenous infection that will only spread further.

 

It’s amazing the lengths some will go to excuse crimes by a politician. It’s like it’s a religion….

I have no problem with democrats choosing the law over electoral success. I know it’s hard to imagine if one supports Trump, but that’s how it should be.

I find no report of Obama removing classified documents (or even unclassified documents) and retaining them in his personal possession.
