The FBI took 11 sets of classified files in total, including four that were labelled "top secret".

The correct reading of that sentence, is that it was the files, which had been labelled as "top secret." All this means, is that Trump had not bothered to put the information into new folders.

 

Except that he didn't actually do it. Now, if that dimwit actually did declassify documents, he's placed us all in danger....and especially any person identified in those documents. But most importantly, that would NOT have entitled the Orange Scofflaw to waddle off and steal gov't documents, classified or not.

 

As an aside, how hard would it be for a skilled burglar to steal classified documents from a basement at Maga Lardo? How ****ing stupid is it o hide the documents there?

A document is a document. I read it correctly. You're making the mistake of highlighting the word "file" while ignoring the word "sets". Please tell me you simply overlooked this.

Even if Trump declassified the documents..........it is irrelevant. There is no indication that he followed proper protocol in doing so. ,,,,,,,as to do so, requires a special procedure,.and that too would have been documented. No one seems to know WHEN he would have done this eitehr.

This is just another distraction.. tactic.

Realistically speaking........... he should be disqualified from running for office o the basis of his "history". Impeachments. Triggering an uprising. Multiple ongoing investigators , his gross and illegal l mishandling of documents ..... and that is a LOT of BAGGAGE that would prevent anyone else from running. And this does not include his personality disorder.

 

That the documents were part of what were called "sets," certainly does not mean that they were in "boxes," which were clearly marked, "Top Secret Documents." I think even Trump, has more sense than that.
