Is there any contemporaneous evidence that he declassified the documents while he was still president?

Well, since that isn't what Trump lawyers stated, you're already on the wrong path.
They stated they certified that no classified documents exist at Mar a lago and everything requested was returned
Most likely because they were declassified prior to leaving office.

Is there any that he didn't? If you can declassify documents by stating they are declassified, and you know its an act of espionage if you don't, what would you have done before bringing documents home.
Does common sense only apply if you can prove it?

Not an attorney by any means, however I think even a layman can figure out one thing that's true: This will be the biggest legal battle in the history of the United States, if not the history of the world. J6 may well have been worthy of that, but documents gate falls a bit short of what should have started that battle.

You know it all makes me wonder what it is about Trump that is so valuable that he needs armies of protective punters to defend him.
He hasn't changed much that is important.
His réponses to emergencies just wasted time though they did cause astonished hilarity.
He makes his allies nervous and even insults them.
His whole schtik is pretending to be important. He got there by playing on the contrived ills of Hillary, only to see his daughter do the same thing and shut the story down.
What is it about this man that is more than someone of your political party?
Surely you can do better than that??

That is not in the Constitution.
    Prove me wrong.
You know not all law is in the Constitution.
Most law is what is passed by federal or state congresses.

Since you asked - if it were me, I’d make damn sure there was a contemporaneous record proving that I declassified them before walking out the door.
    As protection for myself.

Since there doesn’t seem to be any such contemporaneous record, it is much more likely that this is an after-the-fact attempt at a defense.

And it doesn't matter because none of the charges depend on the docs being classified.

We will have to see what the charges are. If any.

We already know what was used to justify the search. None of those charges require that any documents be classified. It only involves obstruction of justice, the criminal mishandling of documents, the destruction or theft of documents and similar charges. These charges apply no matter the classification.

There may be additional charges that do. But those weren't used to justify the search.

Scroll back. It was linked on this thread. The receipt was signed after the raid was over.
It should have been given to the lawyers on arrival.

    They were. Stop posting nonsense.

They were sealed from the public to protect trump's privacy. They weren't sealed from trump or his lawyers. LOL!

    No it hasn't. Stop lying

Your only way to defend trump is to lie. What a shock.

Right, because in the history of the United States presidency, we have always had every president document every document they declassify?
    You're being ridiculous
Never happened in the past and isn't happening right now.

One specific lawyer said she didn’t receive a copy. It could have been left with someone else, thus complying with the requirements.

And the DOJ application said they did leave a copy.

Yes. There is a required process. And not all documents can be declassified on whim by the president.

Stop arguing when you obviously don't have a clue what you're talking about

    And stop lying
