You'd have to ask Democrats. They've been doing what you describe for the past two decades (until they perfected the art of election fraud). I don't back any party, dude. They both suck. That's why I back the America First MAGA movement.
You don't back any party, so you vote Republican Hey, its your vote, so you can use it to back any party you want.
Slightly off topic but I've seen that sentiment before and I think it's hogwash. First, I don't think DeSantis is going to enter the race as long as Trump is in it. Second, the idea that DeSantis is a secret establishment shill is ridiculous. There is a good tell on that and that's on the issue of immigration. DeSantis has expressed his opposition to amnesty; a very high priority establishment goal. So if DeSantis enters the race and waffles on amnesty then you'll know he's dancing to the GOP establishment tune. But that's not the way I would bet.
Don't make them up and then believe them. Trying dealing with real issues, not fake ones. It will make life more real as well.
Being against illegal immigration and amnesty is pretty much Republican establishment talking point. Where do you get the idea that amnesty is their goal? Which Republican politician are calling for amnesty?
Check your links, because neither work. I know Rubio has spoken from both sides of the coin, which may be necessary while campaigning in Florida with massive number of Latinos, but to claim the Republican establishment is pro-amnesty is borderline absurd given all the hostility they have displayed towards the whole idea. Heck, they rejected the idea of building a border wall in 2013, because they were asked to agree with amnesty to a small number of illegals (those brought here as kids).
I don't exactly blame you for not knowing much about Republicans, since the media covers them as if they were a mysterious Amazon tribe, but the 2013 amnesty bill was about the "11 million" illegals, not just the so called "dreamers" or DACA. And 14 Republicans in the Senate voted for it. Meanwhile you seem amazed that I mentioned two.
Yeah. It's amazing that you and you alone have figured out the fraud. Have you contacted a lawyer? Did you call your Senator? Surely they would love to see this amazing evidence of fraud that you claim to have. LOL Trump, Maga America first? LOL, that's the funniest thing I've heard all day bruh.
Well, since you are trying to argue establishment GOP is pro-amnesty, it should have been a dream bill for them. However, the truth smacks you in the face, because House Republicans refused to even discuss it for the very reason that it mentioned amnesty.
Truth is always my friend, and since you seem to have been wrong about the relationship between the establishment GOP and amnesty (which is shocking) you are probably going to continue to be more wrong the longer this goes on. First, it was the Speaker who kept the bill off the floor. You seem to think he did that because he hates amnesty? There is an easier answer that suggests itself but you'll never guess it.
He died few years back, and he backed amnesty for 'dreamers' only. The argument here is that the dominant part of the Republican party aka "GOP establishment" are pro-amnesty, and clearly that does not pass the sniff test, because most Republicans are pretty vocal about being against it. Ask yourself, - how many amnesty bills have the Republicans introduced in Congress?
Correct. I don't. Both major parties are incredibly corrupt. The candidates who I have voted for have all ran as Republicans. That doesn't mean that I support the RNC club, though. There was a time when I used to be tribalistic about it and considered myself to be a Republican (supporting the RNC club), but those days are gone. Now, I consider myself to be a conservative and in support of the America First MAGA movement, in opposition of the RNC club. Right, but I don't back any party. I hate the DNC club, and I hate the RNC club. I support the MAGA movement, which is trying to "clean house" within the RNC.
Wow you continue to be wrong on this issue. The 2013 Amnesty Bill, that McCain voted for, amnestied all of the "11 million" illegals, not just the dreamers.
McCain spoke about the dreamers. How he voted for that failed bill is another matter. Your claim is that dominant part of the Republican party aka 'GOP establishment' are pro-amnesty, and you are failing to prove that. Few Senators <> Dominant part of GOP. If you want to prove your claim, the show is a list of the pro-amnesty bills which were introduced by the GOP
This goes back to the utter mystery (to you) of why Boehner never brought up the Senate amnesty bill in the House. Because the GOP electorate is mostly opposed to amnesty. And it would have destroyed the GOP house majority (which they managed to do on their own later). As for a Republican Amnesty bill, I could present one, but it won't change your mind. Want proof? Here goes: Handful of House Republicans Unveil a New Amnesty Bill
Its right there in the title: "handful" (of reps in the House). Your claim here is that the dominant part of the Republican party aka the establishment are pro-amnesty. And now you say that in their hearts they are pro-amnesty, but oppose it for show........well, that would make them liars and that doesn't reflect well for that party.
Fair enough, but just keep a watchful eye on it and see if it plays out as I'm suspecting it will. If DeSantis enters the race, and I think that he will, he will be the very last person to enter, so that other candidates can tarnish Trump (and each other) and DeSantis can walk in unscathed as the "hero of the ticket". My belief is that this is all part of the RNC club plan to destroy the MAGA movement that they despise so much. DeSantis just won his race for Governor, so he needs to wait to enter this race, for optics purposes, otherwise it would be blatantly obvious that he never had any intention of serving a full term as Governor and that he's bailing on the people of Florida. The Florida legislature wants to change their laws so that DeSantis doesn't have to step down from Governor in order to run for President. DeSantis has an over $200M war chest built up that he didn't use for his Governor's race. Let's just say that all early signs point to him running. It's not ridiculous at all, actually. True, but there are two even better tells on that, and one of them is doing some digging into who specifically is funding one's campaign. DeSantis has, for one example, received a large donation from Ken Griffin, who has publicly stated that he wants to: [1] Stop the populist movement (aka MAGA). [2] Get the Republican Party back in alignment with the multinational "corporate world". DeSantis will, in exchange for receiving those large sums of money, do whatever his big mega donors (like Ken Griffin) want him to do, and those things will not be good for us working class citizens, economically speaking. On social policies, DeSantis would be great... but economic policies?? Hell no! Trump, on the other hand, is largely funded by small donations ($200 or less) from a plethora of working class citizens across the country. Thus, he will serve THEIR interests instead of the interests of elitist globalist Wall Street mega donors. The second better tell is on the issue of national economic policy. Donald Trump lived and breathed the fact that "economic security is national security". He got us out of bad trade deals (NAFTA, TPP - DeSantis supported TPP btw), he made good use of tariffs, manufacturing was returning, inflation was low, wage raises were much higher than inflation, gas prices were low, prices of everything were much lower, etc etc etc ..... Trump has a proven track record on this, and was the only person talking about this stuff during the 2016 campaign. DeSantis has no track record on national economic policy, and has been bought and paid for by people like Ken Griffin who do not support Trump's nationalistic approach to national economic policy. DeSantis is funded by elitist globalists, and would almost assuredly curtail to their demands if he were (s)elected President. But that's the other thing... So long as current (s)electioneering practices remain the same for both parties (meaning that Republicans go after voters, legally, while Democrats go after ballots, mostly illegally), Republicans will never win President anyway, no matter who runs, because under this current (s)electioneering system, Democrats already have an over 270 "electoral vote" lead built in due to election fraud. I'm willing to bet that he would waffle if his donors demanded it.
Thom Tillis John Cornyn Jeff Flake (no longer in Senate) John McCain (no longer in Senate) Lindsay Graham Marco Rubio That's just a few of the senators...
