Let's terminate the Constitution!!

Should Trump ever find himself on trial for anything related to the 2020 election I doubt the jury will be composed of any of his supporters.

 

Even Elon musk came out in opposition to what trump said about doing away with the constitution. The comma does mean something and it’s usually a separation of points. Either way he still suggested doing away with those in the constitution.

 

Sorry the current Biden admin is the very definition of authoritarian. Paul is a libertarian not a conservative and while I could easily tolerate a Paul Presidency it isn't going to happen. Frankly I don't see it as better than a fifty fifty chance that either Trump or Biden will still be alive 2 years from now let alone politically viable.

What’s the difference between intentionally disregarding it and saying it? There is a clear separation of powers and the president does not have power over the purse and by god they never should either. He done that in complete disregard for the constitution

 

I didn't say it would. I think he's trying to shore up support in anticipation of being indicted.

 

IMO he is the most conservative in the GOP. Its possible to be conservative and libertarian the same time. Heck, you can even be left learning and libertarian.

They'll probably be alive, but Biden it too old and Trump destroyed is own chances by demanding to terminate the Constitution. Besides he lost to a demented old man in 2020, so how could be possibly beat a more qualified candidate like Manchin?

Did he terminate the Constitution? No, he did not. If he pushed the boundaries, or crossed lines, its the job of the Supreme Court to intervene. That's how the US functions as per the Constitution. Personally I hope the cancel the forgiveness idea. I think Biden actually expects them to cancel it.

 

My thoughts on Paul. He has no discernible principles at all. His pretend hand-wringing on Trump's agenda was obviously a bad acting job.

I was hoping he'd be more like his father, but no. He is still a sold conservative though. He stood up and protested the GOP spending bill in 2017 and called his own party a bunch of raving hypocrites, because they campaigned on excessive spending during Obama years (although they controlled the purse 80% of the time) and in 2017 they had the WH too and hiked spending by 20%.

 

Well, if you know that and I know it don't you think Trump's lawyers also know it? Playing the "victim card" only helps him in campaigning, not in any legal defense. His followers already know he's not guilty of any crimes related to the 2020 election. And all the Trump haters already have him convicted before a single indictment has been issued.

 

He was NOT the victim of fraud, he knows he wasn't; multitudes of very, very ... VERY ... competent people have told him so ... multitudes of times. AND, people like Bannon, Flyn, Eastman ... even Senator Graham keep telling him even though he DID lose, he can retake the presidency by illegal means. Doing away with OUR Constitution is the necessary first step. And, BTW, there isn't a genuine cell in tRaitor tRumps body.

Have you ever sat on a jury? It's not easy being a lone holdout. Most people can't hold up under the pressure.

Here's where your argument fails. You've already convinced yourself that documents were stolen. That has not been proven and even the investigators are not suggesting it. Trump made no effort to conceal any documents. This whole thing began when he voluntarily turned over 15 boxes of documents to the NARA. Because they found documents within those boxes with classified designations they used it as a ruse to "get" Trump.

 

So, are you reading Trump's mind for him, or are you of the opinion that if enough 'competent' people tell us something, we have to believe them? I find either sentiment to be quite ridiculous...

 

Then Trump closet "usurper" of the law and constitution has a very good chance!
