    Trump will have a busy inauguration day in 2025.... Inauguration rant at noon, then attending court (somewhere) later that day... Hope he can sneak in a small bucket in between.

    Actually I wasn’t. I was okay with a federal probe but I never advocated for an indictment specially at a state level. But hey, if states can lock up presidents then let’s do it. At least we know why Trump spent this money. We still don’t k ow what the Biden’s did for China to get their money but dang sure it’s not legal or Biden would t have lied about it. Time to get our states involved in federal dealings as well.

    I know I shouldn't laugh, but you have succinctly explained it well, and used humor as a bonus! Good post.

    I see DeSantis as the only viable, and highly capable candidate who could win and lead us out of this disaster, at least for now. Vivek might make a good VP for him though.

    Trump indicted? Hopefully just the first of a bunch of them. I mentioned on this site 7 years ago that I considered this misogynistic, narcissistic, pathologically lying con artist and fraud one of the most dangerous men on the planet. Hopefully the MAGA morons don't get any dumber than they already are but, if they do, I suggest they don't try anything stupid in NYC, it won't go well for them.

    And the law can be enforced in any jurisdiction.

    Unless you want to change the Constitution to prevent states from suing Trump specifically.

    Funny you mentioned him, he landed back in Brazil today.
    Three months in the US and obviously his visa wasn't extended.
    I'm surprised Trump didn't stash in him down in his storage room at Mar a Lago with a sleeping bag and put him to work in the kitchen,
    If he had any use for him he would at least have gotten an employee room..

    But it is the DA who brought the charges to the grand jury and has the prosecutorial discretion as Bragg is showing with his mass downgrading felonies to misdemeanors except of course here where he is desperately trying to upscale it.

    And those who believe we have a system of justice and due process and a constitutional separate of powers will move more towards Trump and away from the left which is trying to turn us into a banana republic.
