Chinese 'hiding military build-up'

I thought we were supposed to be pulling out of Iraq and Afghanistan? Isn't that what the Anointed One told us recently?

That is true. The USA will use the money we get from China to build a army to destroy China with their own money. They are so stupid they will not see it comming. This is pure genious.

It is information like this that is proof that the USA refuses to hide behind change and redirect itself from becoming another Grease by the end of the summer.

My hats off to the conservatives of America on a job well done. People from around the world overestimate our ability to make smart choices. And this is solid evidence to prove just that. We will show them that the USA can not, and will not allow change, nor will we allow others to influence our made up minds, on what we are told and how we are told to think.

That depends on how you look at it, though. I've heard the stories about country folk signing up to fight in World War 2, and of the guys who 4-Fed out of military service, some of whom committed suicide for not being able to fight in the war. None of them ever burned their draft cards in mealy-mouthed liberal protest either.

 

You could, of course, nuke Afghanistan. However I doubt its nuclear-armed neighbour, Russia, would take too kindly too plumes of fall-out drifting over its border; nor, for that matter, would China or Pakistan-both nuclear powers who also share borders with Afghanistan. No, 'nuking' Afghanistan wouldn't be one of America's more intelligent moves. Then again your country isn't known for brain-power when it comes to wars and invasions.

US Says China’s Military Expanding Rapidly
Wednesday, August 24th, 2011 - The U.S. Defense Department says China is on pace to achieve its goal of building a modern military by 2020, a move it says could potentially destabilize the Asia-Pacific region.

 

Currently Japans navy is stronger than China`s, thus china can`t Even touch Japan. Also the Japanese don`t have an army, they have a "National Defense Force, with a navy, airforce, special opps, and ground army". (after WW2 we made them sign a treaty stating they couldn`t have a "real" army)

The NDFoJ is actually very well trained and armed, and you can bet your ass they have been drilling their asses off in the event of a Chinese attack for the last 40 years.

 

The only ally China would have in a real war would be North Korea, and thats like showing up to a gang fight with just yourself and your retarded cousin eddy who stares at the wall and draws green elephants with fingerpaint all day.

 

why would China attack there best customer? If we don't buy there plastic, China would have a ton of unemployed angry citizens to deal with.

Considering their market and economy are inevitably going to plateau, the only way to keep their economy rolling at full steam would be to wage an expansion war. A BIG ONE.
I doubt that will happen any time soon, but it will occur eventually, and when it does i sure as hell wouldn`t want to be in Mongolia/South Korea/Southeast Asia.

People running around thinking Japan won WWII and still has a military force of it's own, capable of projecting any real power militarily.

Frankly if I were some, I'd be far more concerned about a Nuclear Iran, and that possibility, than China or any percieved military build up the Chinese may be undertaking.

The Japanese defense forces are very well equipped and trained. Their Navy and airforce consists of mostly top tier U.S. equipment. They train consistently with the U.S. military and are in fact considered the best at working with the United States Navy. Japan also has the added benefit of an entire U.S. Navy fleet (carrier BG plus supporting elements) stationed on it's territory. The 7th fleet by itself could probably destroy the entire Chinese Navy. When you combine it with the Japanese Navy you have a force more than capable of keeping China away from Japanese interests. Having the 7th fleet in Japan also means that any aggression against the nation means war with the United States.

 

No, one of the many seasons we bailed out the auto companies is because if we ever entered a 3rd WW we would need those factories for planes and tanks, just like in WW2. It is a real national security issue.

 

We're not responsible for just Japan. What about the Phillipenes? Long standing allies who up until recently, were a possession. Then there are the vietnamese, who are becoming trading partners on par with China and have far more goodwill towards our dollars than the Chinese do.

These nations all have legitimate security concerns and are not capable of defending themselves against Chinese expansionism. The only force on the planet capable of keeping these small nations from being bullied is the USA.

 

They have had a huge standing army for decades. It's the recent developments of them building stealth interceptors and aircraft carriers that has people wondering what their intentions might be in the future.

 

We could tell the Russians it was leaking from Chernobyl.

The Chinese probably wouldn’t even notice it.

Indian and Pakistan would instantly Nuke each other before the first mushroom cloud finished forming.

And Iran would self destruct while trying to load theirs onto a ’72 Toyota pickup.
