So what? Since when do crowds NOT attract criminal types and pickpockets. These "leftists" are unemployed Americans.
You gotta love Margot. Defending sexual assaults because there were only "a few" How many at tea party rallies Margot? Thats right.
Unemployed Americans demanding money from the rest of us. Given that they feel entitled to the property of others, it's no surprise that they rob and rape each other.
Some might be. I see a lot of signs demanding home owners being bailed out and student loans to be forgiven. That's demanding money. The ones demanding jobs, are demanding government jobs. A govt. job that is just a welfare program disguised as economic activity. In the end, they are all asking for money from someone else.
What homeowners have been "bailed out".. Are you unaware of the foreclosures? We began losing jobs in the Private sector in 2001.. What makes you think they want "government " jobs? Remember Herman Cain was a huge advocate for Affirmative Action, which came into being around the time he was finishing HS.. He also voted for it in Georgia. Cain is a likeable phoney.
Herman Cain in his previous run for US Senator from Georgia, openly endorsed affirmative action on his web site. From WSB Debate Another area where Cain differed from his opponents was over the reauthorization of the Voting Rights Act and Affirmative Action. Both Collins and Isakson, feel the law should apply fairly to every state or should be abolished entirely. Cain, who has been endorsed by Rainbow/PUSH's Southeastern operations director Joe Beasley, stated he would vote for reauthorization of the Voting Rights Act. Rainbow/PUSH is known by its executive Jessie Jackson. http://christiancitizens.org/herman_cain_for_president.html
In Egypt perhaps where 40% of the population lives on $1 a day.. In America you would be starving and homeless. Get real.
If they wanted jobs, they would be searching for them, not wasting days, weeks, or months protesting. These people clearly want handouts.
Are you living in Egypt or Somalia? Check out Cost of Living index on the net.. its real.. not a figment of anyone's imagination.
Of course your cost of living is dramatically lower when everyday you could be shot, you don't have quality medical care, paved roads, air conditioning, walmart and gas stations within ten miles of your homes, and a military that protects you and doesn't oppress you. And this is all available without making a dime. The fact you are complaining while using a computer and Internet which isn't available to 75% of the world is quite appalling.
Actually it is. What isn't a solution is rioting in the streets. At the moment, the worst thing a person could have on their resume is a blank spot of no employment. And that's what these guys have -- a glaring blank. Because they can't very well tell a potential future employer that they couldn't work because they were too busy trying to start an anti-business revolution. Besides which, if they don't blow all of their money on weed, they could start paying down their loans and not owe so much for their Women's studies degrees. Maybe they could even afford an apartment.
After my long stint as a healthcare exec.. I worked as a recruiter for Fortune 500 companies.. Many of these young people that you are (*)(*)(*)(*)ing have applied for 500 jobs in the past 18 months. When you post a crummy $1700 bookkeeper job and get 1300 responses from CPAs who were making $65 t0 80 K.. it becomes REAL. The first step is to FACE it.
So..the OWS crown is creating what? Janitor/street sweeping/refuse collector jobs, while keeping others from going about their business? Why not sit down and come up with a concrete plan, or at least some ideas on who to do better, instead of just protesting anything that's out of their line of comprehension? All I see are bunches of people with nothing else to do but yell and scream and leave trash and excrements behind. These people fail to see that there are those who have an actual cause, and those who protest for the sake of protesting. First thing I always ask when approached with a complaint is: "Do you have a better idea?" Those who do get my undivided attention, others are dismissed until they come up with something more that the urge to complain.
You lost all of your credibility by the original false post. Nothing you say from that point on is believable. Cain is wrong on one point: Most of them HAVE jobs. In the sympathy protests in Europe and Canada the protesters are paid poverty pimps who have government grants to "advocate" for the poor and homeless.
