    What sets gay couples apart from heterosexual couples?

    Outside of procreation, which we have already dealt with, that is no required in anyway for marriage.

    Sure I have. Marriage is limited to heterosexual couples because only heterosexuals procreate. YOU are the one who hasnt supplied a valid reason for only extending mariage to gays. Denial of marriage to two gay guys is no more or less valid than denial of marriage to my brother and I. Nothing special about being gay that would warrant such special treatment.

    Same thing that sets platonic and closely related couples apart from heterosexual couples. They dont procreate. What sets gay couples apart from platonic and closely related couples that would justify such special treatment for gays?.......... and I dont ask the question, over and over again, expecting to receive an answer, but instead to demonstrate you dont have one.

    This has been gone over time and time again, there is no standard of procreation to enter into marriage.

    Incest is illegal, now if you and your brother want to get married, then good for you. However your relationship is illegal and will land the two of you in jail.

    Ohhhh maybe in Alabama or something but marriage to my brother is no more a crime than marriage to a same sex lover, where I live. You people just make this (*)(*)(*)(*) up as you go along, dont you?

    Unnatural? Actually since humans are a product of nature everything we do, by definition, is natural... And what's more you find homosexuality in nature across all species. In the strictest, animalistic interpretation of the word "unnatural", marriage is VERY "unnatural", since it promotes monogamy which hinders reproduction with any and all available partners...

    you have zero evidence that animals are homosexuals. homosexuality implies humans anyway...... and when did marriage come into the discussion?

    Marriage is a social institution.

    homosexuality defies the laws of nature.

    No it doesn't. Actually there is evidence to SHOW that you are incorrect and it is well-known.

    What science questions most about homosexuality, is exactly why/how it manifests itself.

    I don't target people, really... but I will go after the meaning of what I think/believe they wrote/said.

    So, it's not actually personal (not with me)... when I get kind of nasty, just think of it as a business or work dispute. People are about the task at-hand... not necessarily about being "nice".

    Again, I don't "target" individuals here; but I WILL go harshly after what I think they are saying. I think the board veterans here, are used to being disagreed with.

    Well, we agree. But I just came from a thread, where people were actually COMPARING homosexual people with "pedophiles" (as if they were discovering some 'eureka' moment). :(

    Just watch how many people speak negatively of people, JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE "HOMOSEXUAL"; it's a lot of evil to endure.

    Homosexuality is found in most animals that have discrete sexes.

    Also, there are several studies that strongly suggest that male homosexuality in humans arises from a suite of alleles that, in females, lead to increased fecundity, but, in males, lead to homosexuality.
