Belgian Grenade Attack Could Be Linked to Honor Killing Sentence

Three people have been killed and 75 people have been wounded after a man fired a machine gun and threw grenades outside a courthouse in Liege, Belgium. As of this writing, a two-year old girl is fighting for her life. The man, identified as Nordine Amrani, has also died. It was initially believed that Amrani acted with two other assailants but Belgian authorities say he acted on his own. Apparently, Amrani (who had a lengthy criminal record) had been en route to be questioned by police when he launched the attack.

Belgian authorities also deny it was a terrorist attack. However, yesterday a Belgian court in Mons sentenced four members of a family to prison sentences ranging from five to twenty-five years for the 2007 honor killing of Sadia Sheikh. She was killed after refusing to consent to an arranged marriage with a cousin in Pakistan and instead living with a Belgian man. It was the first time anyone in Belgium had been put on trial for committing an honor killing.

Given the timing of the attack and where it was carried out, this certainly cannot be discounted.

Based on what? A report in the Telegraph by the Karachi Post, which if you bother to check the link he put up, doesn't mention Pakistan at all. In fact, google "Nordine Amrani Karachi Post" and the only thing coming up related to this is the JW article.

I wonder how many more incidents like this must happen before people wake up and realise that an obsession with firearms is not a healthy obsession. In America people worship the gun like it was sacred, that has to be the sign of a deranged mind and deranged minds and guns are two things which should never go together.

What difference does it make? We had a similar incident in Britain at Dunblane, the person responsible for it was a Christian, nobody made anything of it. Incidents like this occur frequently in America and in the vast majority of cases the person responsible is a Christian but nobody makes anything of it.

 

He was seen having coffee with a muslim in 2007.

 

The guy as far as I'm aware, was a criminal -- previously convicted for sexual assult, a drug supplier (had about 2000 plants plantation) and gun freak.

The latest news is that in his house a dead woman was found, and the police had called him to come in for questioning for another sexual assult case. The victim is the 45 y.o. cleaning lady of his neighbours.

The man -- Nordine Amrani -- also made over a large amount of money on the bank account if his g/f with the message: "I love you, the best of happiness to you."

The victims are a 75 y.o. lady, a baby of 17 months and two teenagers aged 15 and 17. The exam period has just started for people in middle and high school, the only reason those two were on the streets anyway, they were returning home to study for the exam of tomorrow.

Some people are still fighting for their life -- there are 122 people injured in total: some are in a serious condition.

My question now is: how on Earth did he get his hands on granades, rocket launchers (found in his home) and kalasjnikovs.

We, as Europeans, urgently need to channel extra funds to Europol and strenghten the agency in analogy of the American FBI.

 

BTW -- he probably was/is a Muslim or from Muslim heritage or whatever wording you want to hear. Although I fail to see what this has to do with him being a nutcase.

My best guess is that something broke in his mind.

He killded the neighbours's cleaning lady -- he made her go inside with the pretense he had some work for her and killed her...

He then went on throwing some grenades and on a shooting spree?

I'd like to see the evidence rather than speculate. He could have been mentally ill or decided to end his life by taking infidels with him.
Jews in Israel are sometimes killed by Arab Muslim friends who decide it's time to go to their heavenly reward by killing Jews. Muslims have been
