For the last year I've found myself enraptured by politics and economics, which used to be a mere hobby, has now become a potential career path. My purpose for joining this forum is to read the various perspectives of the citizens of America in order so that I may be enlightened in both the knowledge that I hold as truth and understanding opposing of opinions my own. My endeavor, no, my passion is too learn all that I can so in order so that one day I may achieve my naive dream to aid in improving this country with great impact and influence. Whether that is through this particular career path or another, I am still unsure...
With that being said, I will now divulge that I am merely an eighteen year old Caucasian male with perhaps idealistic views. Now before you roll your eyes, know that I take pride in my ability to know when to speak up and when I'm proven wrong, shut up. I am a firm believer in equity, not equality; for peace when possible/realistic; and align with the Independent Party, although I will admit that my beliefs are certainly more Democratic than Republican.
I'm sure over time I'll catch at least a few people's interests. If so, feel free to message me; I'm all for a good debate as an educating experience.
Thus, I open my mind to you so that such an education will open my eyes.
