Hey Sweetie! I hope things are ok with you there in LI. I lost power till tuesday, and internet and phone till friday after the storm. Hill sent me a message that he hasn't heard from you...I checked and you haven't been on since the storm Sat. Hope everything is ok, check in with me when you get back on would you?

ok , got some news from Flounder today , he called me about 1:30 pm today , and he has badly wrenched his back , all he can do to get to the bathroom and back to the couch / bed , no way he can stand to sit at his pc ... but he wanted me to pass it on that he's ok other than being in a lot of pain , but he's home , not in a hospital . I posted it here because I know a lot of people check here to see if he's back , and I knew y'all would see it . sending out pm now , Hillbilly

we realize that something has occurred ... we don't know what has happened , but I've known you for years , and even when on vacation you'd let someone know , and it's 6 days since you've posted ... so , something has happened ...

If traveling to the aid of a family member , know that our prayers are with you & yours .

If it is you ,,, yourself ,,, that have / are in distress ,,, perhaps in a hospital bed ,,, then know that those same prayers will be offered for your recovery , my friend... many prayer candles are lit for you & family , [IMG]

well , old buddy , ,, I'm guessing that you're one of the 214 thousand in New York that don't have the power back on from the storm last week ... hope it comes back on today ... it's looking like it might be a rough Winter ... that dang global warming sure is making a mess of things , ain't it ???

I had a chimney sweep clean & inspect both my chimmneys today ... here at the 'homeplace' ... got a wood stove in the basement , and a real nice white marble slab tile ,,, 2" thick in front ,,, and a field rock/river rock fireplace up-stairs ... where the TV is... I built a fire in the basement wood stove a few times when it came the blizzard of 2008 ,,, or was that 2009 ? it was 2008 , wasn't it ? But Dad only built a fire a few times in the up-stairs fire place , that white marble i was telling ya about ,,, ( it looks a lot like that marble you had in your kitchen floor before you did all that re-modeling back in our BuzzDash days ) ,, but it's got a few faint lead streaks in it ... very beautiful material ..

anyway , I got a clean bill o health on the chimneys & fireplace , but I'm bringing him back in Feb to 're-parge' the flue gap on the up stairs fire place.....

Good grief , I feel like I been 'parged' myself when I wrote the check out today ,,, helll , I'll be walking bow-legged for days ,,, ouchhh ...

George , it was one of the best World Series I've ever had the privelidge to watch ... I was pulling for the Cards to win , but it would have been fine with me to see Nolans bunch win it , being as how they've never won one , but it was just a shame that there had to be a loser , because both teams played their hearts out ... a lot of (*)(*)(*)(*)n fine baseball was played , it was a hard fought World Series ... I think Texas will be the winner next year , but who knows , I'm just sad that baseball is over for the year 2011..

old friend from Buzz , this is the 7th day in a row that I've posted , and have my posts or pm's or vm's lost out yonder in the circular file ,,, so I'm thinking maybe I'll be spending my money elsewhere in the near future ... maybe Trin has the best alternative , after all ...
