First of all I'm not saying stop buying ,doesn't make that much differance in these times anyway. Coroprations biggest profits come from things American consumers want not what American consumers need. And if American consumers started buying what they want from other countries, WELL?
It's true the world depends some on the American consumer, but not as much as American corporations do. Every product that is outsourced must be shipped back to America before selling it.. I'm sure you've heard the words "including shipping". The less American consumers buy ,the more it cuts into that shipping cost. That means less profits.
Although it may be unoticed but American workers are fighting back. Not the way we used to but a more subtle approach. You must remember all American workers are basicly American consumers. We are living in a "free market" so if corporations can outsource jobs from Americans workers. Then American workers can buy from the Japanese the Chinese or who ever they wish. #1 car in America Hyundi base Japan #1 retail store in America base China 75& of products come from China base CHINA #1 GAME WII base China Without American consumers what do American corporations have. The same thing American consumers have without jobs LESS MONEY LESS PROFIT.
