I have single handily witnessed several threads establish and validate opinions and debate and those threads were locked for just cause based on the premise that TOS agreement and forum rule guideline and policy were violated. As a moderator, one of your duties is to enforce forum rule policy when you're informed by a member that TOS or forum rule policy has been broken. Clearly this incident demonstrates partisan moderating on your behalf.

Yes - Rudd was good - really human and caring. sometimes I think he's a smarmy b but he really came across as a genuine man of the people - something Howard could never have done.

my place down south is very much at risk - have to go down and do the fire breaks - fat lot of good they'd do though if there was a crown (treetop) fire.

was in Spain when you guys had those horrible fires. Felt devastated - my daughter's friend knew people in Marysville. Rudd was impressive on the international media. he came across as very genuine and people commented on that.

you're probably looking at the south - the North is really beautiful especially the lakes district but not so much as the highlands of scotland.

apparently there is water shortages in the south. didn't rain much when we were there but it can be wet in summer - bit different from here though - not so sure about Vic but here we have very heavy hard rain - there (UK) its softer rain most of the time

LOL I could understand Spanish better than I could understand English in London.

some of the country is very pretty though - I've argued for the right of return but I wouldn't want to go there unless I could build a wall and keep most of them out!
