I grew up in the country and worked in logging and on farms from the time I was 12. I graduated high school and dodged the draft by joining the US Marines and became an expert in small arms as well as sniper trained. I served 14 months in Vietnam during the escalation in 1964-65. I was captured and tortured by the Cong but escaped after 3 months just before Christmas 1964.

Out of the service I traveled around the country a bit and finally settled down and worked for the same company for 31 years. Now my wife and I are both retired and enjoying life as much as possible.
I am now 67 years of age, 6' 3", 265, still strong of body and mind.
