    It's great to see the First Lady setting the example for the "shared sacrifice" her dear hubby so likes put on our table. You go girl!

    McCain family is at one of their many vacation homes and they cannot remember how many they have.
    Gingrich family vacations in a cruise ship while running for office and his $500k credit line at tiffanys.

    Honestly, who really cares? If we all had the money/ability to do said things and go on vacations, we would be on vacation instead of on these forums. I would be in Dublin again drinking all day and partying like I did last year.

    Threads like this is just jealousy, because we all would be doing the same thing if we could.

    Also, last I checked the current GOP candidates have their own secret service detail. So anywhere they go, the taxpayers are paying for some of it.

    The Obamas can go on vacations with their own money. Which they are. Security is needed though because some extreme right wingers put her in danger.

    Guess she doesn't know that Romney and his wife have secret service protection since recently...

    He takes more vacations than anyone in America.

    But if you want a lecture on how Americans have to work harder just ask Der Furher and he'll give you an earful.

    Then we have Michelle running around the country and terrorizing children because they don't eat foods that she approves of.

    You said that Michelle can't go out by herself because of "dangerous right wingers". Bush and his wife couldn't go out by themselves without protection, was that because of "dangerous left wingers?" Reagan was shot and almost killed by a dangerous left winger.

    The topic is about MO taking another VACATION ... paid for by the US taxpayers ... not the presidential process of campaigning where the candidates are given SS protection...
