What's it going to take for these two slugs to drop out and allow the two front runners to battle it out? Everyone in the world knows these two have zero chance of winning the Republican nomination. I've been a Romney man from the get-go, and everyone knows that Romney is going to win, so why are you RINO's still posting your liberal talking points in hope that the nomination process goes to a broker convention? Btw, Romney still leads obama in a heads up matchup, so lets get Romney on the path to defeating this bozo we have in office now. And lets face it, santorum is toast as well. :handshake:

Because Paul will wind up with more delegates than Santorum or Gingrich... they should be the ones to drop out.

19 delegates for Paul. When is he going to make his little delegate run?

Also, what does it say about Ron Paul that in what some call a weak field he has yet to win a state and probably wont?

True. At worst Ron Paul is going to get second place. And why do we want just Romney and Santorum? They both ROYALLY SUCK BIG ASS. I don't even understand what there is to like about this big gov neocon hypocrites.

Those are predicted numbers. They don't include any caucus states yet, because caucus states arent even done yet! Ron Paul has raised more money than all but Romney in GOP. And he hasnt received any large lobby amounts like the others did. So no, I would say he still stands a chance.

The delegates in caucus states haven't been awarded yet. The state elections are just straw polls. Usually after the voting is done and a "winner" is chosen the Santorum and Gingrich voters go home while the Paul and Romney voters stick around to be chosen as delegates, who then have to go through more caucuses.

I have a feeling Dr. Paul will do very well in Texas and fairly well in California.

He did great in the caucus states, so I wouldn't count him out.

And why should they even drop out? If people aren't going to vote for them, it wouldn't matter. If people vote for them, it's because they like that person... Each campaign can spend its money how it wants. I think Paul is going to ride this one out into the convention.

You know that they are trying to leverage seats on the bus when its all said and done, right? With Romney winning, Paul will stay in until his son gets the VP spot next to Romney promised to him. As for Newt, I think he honestly believes that he has leverage by staying in. He's probably trying to get Santorum to offer him VP or Secretary of State or something, even though he'll be history after this failed race is over.

Either way, Paul voters are more likely to vote for Romney or Obama, while Newt voters will support Santorum. Unless one or the other drops out, it won't sway the final outcome of Romney as the guy.

Not gonna happen. Newt has a real hatred for Romney, and Paul is hoping to use his delegate count to push an agenda at the convention. Good luck with this gaffe machine in November, I cant wait to hear some more "the trees are the right height" comments.

Ron Paul is the only candidate with a chance of defeating PrezBO.

If Romney gets the nod, Republicans will vote R, Democrats will vote D and independents will be split. Ron Paul supporters will stay home or vote third party. PrezBO wins.

If Ron Paul gets the nod, right wing neo-conservatives will either stay home or vote PrezBO, the rest of the R's will vote R, some D's will vote R, most indies will vote R and the habitual D voters and far left will vote PrezBO... who knows who wins.

I'm confused about the delegate situation. Everywhere I look has a different set of totals for delegates won to date, and the totals are not nearly as high as they should be.
If Iowa, for instance, is only now deciding how to divide their delegates wouldn't delegates that should numerically go to Paul choose Romney or Santorum instead because Paul's chances are decreasing? Is that fair?

    Jobs ..jobs..jobs..

heck let them stay in..they look more foolish every week..the ONLY THING I HATE is the money spent defeating them instead of defeating Obama..

Now it will be NEWT v. Santorum..

15 pts made up in less than 2 weeks..is a surge...not what Santorum was said to have by FOX.

    size matters ?

    Not in politics...wins matter...

    Tonight..ARIZONA..WYOMING..and Michigan..

what did the others win ..?

    Nada.

I wonder why WYOMING and its election wasn't mentioned ?

WHY do the others continue..what deal does Romney NOT serve by being elected..??

    Besides beating Obama.

I just looked up "Wyoming caucus" and apparently they meet in different times from now until April 14.
