She came months after the start of the movement when she recognized that it was for real. She never defined our motives, but agreed with them.

You see, we were against CRONY CAPITALISM before OWS.

We were against corporate welfare before OWS.

My take is that the book/movie probably contains some truths. They probably contain some exaggerations. They probably contain some very gross exaggerations. There are probably some out and out untruths.

I've no doubt that Governor Palin wasn't really ready or qualified to be President (As many have pointed out, President Obama may not have been either). I think that there are probably more than one Vice Presidential candidate that the same can be said about to one extent or another. Picking a running mate is typically done for political reasons.

I have no doubt that Governor Palin experienced some real moments of stress during the campaign. Do I think she was every borderline catatonic as it seems to be suggested that she was on several occasions? I doubt it.

There were just several things other than the way Governor Palin was characterized that made me doubt the absolute accuracy of a lot of what I saw ... and I'm not a big supporter of the Governor by any stretch.

 

First, the Tea Party is not a (Political) Party ... second, see Sal Russo who was a Bush neocon who accidently created the Tea Party by painting a schoolbus in a U.S. Constitution and Declaration of Independence motif called the Tea Party Express ... as a fundraising operation for (neo)-conservatives after Bush and the neocons destroyed anything *conservative* ...

Longtime engineer of the so-called *Republican Revolution* back in the time of Gingrich and fake independent (Like Ron Paul) .... (fake because the term independent is simply a social-fiscal conservative that leans either slight left or right depending on fluctuating economic conditions & social issues) .... Dick Armey ... who hijacked the whole concept since it was something closely resembling his FreedomWorks back in 2003 and who Bush had a disdain for since it was mainly a healthcare reform platform ... and where Russo readily agreed to it since he believed there was a buck in it for him not to mention laughing at the whole collapse of the economy etc that always ushers-in a new political idea ... here, a long repressed form of conservatism known as Guns & Bibles ...


The Tea Partys' only success so far is to make a few people wealthy ... like Palin ... and now as the Party of Hate & Death ...
