So first the defense was that she is a slut that's why Rush called her that. When that was proven ineffective. Rush is just an entertainer, but no one accepted that. Fluke isn't a private citizen she is a world renowned pinko commie socialist contraceptive popping activist, not many grabbed that one. Well Bill Maher called Palin names in passing in a comedy routine, not for 3 hours a day for three days straight on a political talk show, but its still the same.

Quit behaving like a victim righties, and suck it up the blowhard Rush blew exceptionally hard those days.

If you wanna start a SEPARATE thread about Bill Maher also being a blow hard, no issues, but whatever you think of either blowhard Rush was a much bigger blow hard on that occasion than Bill has ever been.

As usual the left gets it exactly all wrong. Can Bill Maher say whatever he wants and use the most offensive term in the English language with impunity? Of course not.
Rush Limbaugh is NOT host of Meet the Press, by the way, and if you want to whine about what he said be man enough to admit Maher crossed lines also.

I'm not a partisan hack, and I call them like I see it. Now if Rush was a comedian and Maher whatever Rush is, and they said those same comments, I would be saying the exact same thing.

 

But she's not a slut or a prostitute for speaking her mind about contraception coverage. It's really silly to defend Rush for his comments.

I can honestly say I have never once laughed at maher, I can't even stand to look a his ugly mug...but, I do however think stewart can be a riot.

 

You should clarify your statement to make it clear that you are guessing. Otherwise, it could appear that you are lying to make a point.

One of the ways, people can tell the meaning of words, is through tone of voice.

For instance

"Your mother was a hamster, and your father smelled of elder berries" (In a comedic tone of voice with a french accent)

"Your mother was a hamster and your father smelled of elder berries (In an angry tone of voice, eyes looking down at you)

Tell me, doesn't the second voice seem more serious out of the two?

 

Where did I EVER defend Rush's comments? Please quote me on that. What I did was correct you on your description of Sandra Fluke.

And I don't know if she's a slut or not, and neither do you.

 

Actually he called an oxycontin addict, which is factually true and can be proved. Limbaugh called Fluke a slut with out an ounce of evidence to back it up. Unless you believe that any woman who uses any form of birth control is a slut.

 

I don't really know how much more clear I can get. If you're refering to the begining, it wasn't needed to be explained at the time. And I did explain the process behind my idea.

 

I hope you are enjoying twisting my words while eagerly defending Limbaugh. He was completely serious when he called her a slut and a prostitute. Whether or not you think his sex tape demands were satirical or not is irrelevant.

Even while criticizing Rush for calling someone a slut, they are making fun of Rush for having a drug problem, which is actually a tragic situation and not at all funny.
