Without knowing more about Zimmerman's mother I cannont ascertain what his "race" is. As has been stated numerous times "Hispanic" is not a race. Many different races of people populate Peru.

He could be 100% Caucasian if his Peruvian mother's ancestors were Spanish and did not mix with the indigenous peoples. I have a Mexican friend that looks like he could have walked off a German street.

The Hispanics of white origin are those descending from the White European countries that settled among the Mestiqos while the black are from the African Countries. Did you read the OP?! Hispanic is not a race! Add to that "Mexican" is not a race. George Zimmerman's mother is from Peru. There is no indication her or anyone in her family has ever been to Mexico so I am not sure where you got that from. You can be a white Hispanic. You can be a black Hispanic. You can be an Asian Hispanic. Hispanic is NOT a race therefor it is not mutually exclusive with the terms white, black or asian. Some ignorant people may not have heard this fact until this case but that is more a problem with their limited education than with this news story.
