So, is flamebaiting not flamebaiting anymore?

I received a one month ban for pulling up a heinous, flamebaiting racist here. It made me think a lot about the kinds of disparity of bannings that happen here. I have seen too much evidence that the extreme forms of flamebaiting racists here are not being dealt with.

I feel one coming on, too. The disparity is become too glaring. I will always stand up against racism, but when I am punished for standing up against vile racism, and the racist is exonerated and protected to spew whatever extreme forms of vileness they like, then that very disparity starts to resemble a form of vileness, itself.

 

The flame baiting on that thread was intense. I'd gone back to follow a thread, and couldn't continue reading because of the vile flamebaiting by one poster.

I know exactly what you mean about the tame posts being stricken. It would border on being humorous if it wasn't for the fact that it displays a lack of fairness and consistency in adhering to rules.

The day this place becomes more like Stormfront, is the day this place will be deemed dumb as a door knob. We see signs of this now.

 

I hear people saying "you conservatives" when they disagree with something they say often times... and the person who started that thread seemed to be posting something that's matter of fact (I know nothing about the smoking gun website, however)

It sounds hard to draw the line between censoring an opinion and making rules against flame baiting... at least any kind of post on here that's shadowed or deleted should be available for retrieval, (unless someone's privacy is hurt).

there should be an entire page for messages that were deleted, so people can see for themselves if censorship is going on or if its something worth not having in the mainstream part of the forum...

 

I disagree with your "protected class" comment. Plenty of threads dealing with race, even innocuous ones, are removed as "flamebait" by certain moderators who have the same anti-racist agenda of attacking anyone who doesn't buy into their happy-sunshine-rainbow view of racial diversity and multiculturalism.

 

This thread is a good example of what liberals and other anti-whites do when they can't argue their points of view effectively. They put on a mask of faux outrage, act offended, and cry to the powers that be to punish people and ban topics of conversation that they are not comfortable with.

 

Unfortunately (for the board's sake) - I agree with every word you typed.

I fear my days here are numbered - either by force or by choice.

A board that punishes free speech but turns a blind eye to blatant racism I want no part of...either allow both or punish both - equally.

I do not think the board is there yet...but the winds seem to be blowing in that direction.

 

Doesn't the news about the Trayvon Martin case have quite a racial spin on it? there's not enough evidence to know if there's anything racial about yet people all over the country and internet are confident that it is.

 

This is not about liberals, anti-Whites, faux outrage, or punishment...

This is about addressing blatant racial flamebaiting that is allowed to go on unabated...

So, please, spare us your faux indignation...

 

Yep, the amount of vile racism and blatant flamebaiting of non-whites here is staggering... as is the support and silent consent of members and mods alike.

It is very informative how all the racist smut has emerged in a backlash to the first coloured pres in the US, but it still churns my stomach to read it - is it as bad as Stormfront here yet?

I saw a mentally-challenged man on the corner in town the other night reciting ^^ this like a mantra. He had fake plastic army medals pinned to his daggy jumper and he was pacing weirdly up and down like he had lost his mind.

Clearly a man off his meds.
