well...since you have no idea about the extent or quality of the intelligence data that Obama had to make that decision, clearly, you are flat out making (*)(*)(*)(*) up. You have absolutely ZERO idea what ANY OTHER president would or would not have done.

Again...if it had FAILED, Obama would have shouldered the ignominy by himself. But it didn't fail. AND he gets to claim credit for it. Just like Carter would have gotten credit if Eagle Claw had succeeded.

Do you think that MORE whiny desperation helps? If you had sufficient reading comprehension, you would have seen, "ANY President given the same Intel would have said, "Go."

"same Intel" makes NO claim that I know one word of the actual Intel. SAME AS YOU ALSO DON'T KNOW ONE WORD OF THE INTEL.

And would b.o. take the blame? Had it gone south, I'm certain that the incompetent punk obama would have a scapegoat to blame. Avoiding blame for his unrelenting, consistent failures is the weasel obama's forte.

Carter was easily the worst president in modern times. obama is 30% to 50% worse and you're defending him. SILLY!

 Agree 100%. Americans seem happy to accept whatever has been said about OBL without evidence and cheer at his summary execution, even though he wasn't armed and put up no fight. But then, he's the kind of guy who at least straddles the line between criminal and enemy combatant, and when it comes to war, people forgive a lot of nastiness.

But I was thinking what you've stated here on and after the day the news had come out that he'd been killed. I was also pretty mad at the absolute lack of proof we've received.

Nope. Weasel Boy Bush would have let the Pakistanis know he was coming.

Horse hockey. You want to talk about punks? What about the punk who convinced us all that Saddam had drones capable of striking the USA and stock piles of chemical weapons and yellow cake from Niger? What about a punk and a senile old airplane driver who told the general who designed our then-standing Army that he was wrong about how many troops they needed to make an invasion of a country that had not attacked us work, and told him to go home? THAT is punk. THAT is mismanagement of intel.

Republicons these are too stupid to be trusted commanding armed forces. Romney has criticised everything Obama has done militarily and he has been WRONG every time. What Obama has done, he has done consulting with peoplel who know what they are talking about, like generals, as opposed to the sorry punk excuse for a POTUS from Crawford who listened to ecconomists and radio and TV blathermeisters like the PNAC scum, and who totally blew the effort to get Osama in Tora Bora.

    Wha??
    not any president...
Perhaps you remember a 2007 Associated Press interview in which Romney said, "It's not worth moving heaven and earth and spending billions of dollars just trying to catch one person,"
here's where you say "Oh, but thats different"...

and again...since you don't know what the intelligence actually was, you have absolutely NO idea what any other president would or would not have done with the same info.

    period.

guess all you want, but you have no freakin' clue.

Odd that YOU make such definitive statements from a position of ZERO knowledge about the Intel. And truly sad that your reading ability is so stilted that you cannot understand that I never made any claim of knowing the Intel. Since I have experience as the person ultimately in charge, I know that when the PIC has enough information in hand, the course of action is all but obvious. b.o. was in the right place at the right time for OBL. That is all he deserves. Clinton, Bush 1, Bush2, Carter, Reagan ALL would have given the go ahead. Carter actually did on far less Intel.

and YOU are the one with reading problems pal... I have NEVER said that you did know. You don't neither do I. SO.... we have absolutely NO idea what any other president would have done with what might have been an abundance of information, or sparse info... He did what HE decided to do. NOBODY else can say what anybody else would have done in that same situation. And you look like a ridiculous moron to sit here and claim certainty of knowledge about what a half a dozen presidents would have done. really.

As stated, I really have not said previously that you had claimed to know the intel.... BUT.... now that you mention it....

If you are NOT claiming to know the intel, how in the world can you know that Carter did anything on "far less" intel. "Far less" that WHAT, pray tell... and how do YOU know the quantity OR quality of Intelligence data that Carter OR Obama had at their disposal? Or are you just pulling more fecal material out of your anal orifice and passing it off as fact again?

Oh Oh.... let me guess. You are actually a super secret intelligence operative with super duper top secret clearance, and if you told me how you knew, you'd have to kill me.... right?

but they arent well known facts, and I have already shown your conclusion that because Pres Bush no longer thinks about OBL, doesnt mean he doesnt have the right people doing whatever they can to get him.

But you simply continue to dodge showing any proof of your erroneous claims, which shows they arent true, and you arent honest.

And when we went to war with Germany and Japan we knew exactly what the "exit strategy" was? The fact is we defeated Saddam and his military in a matter of weeks, the strategy then was to provide security so that elections could be held, then establish a relationship with that government so we could maintain a military presence and a forward base there. We accomplished all of that. THEN al Qaeda made the strategic error of moving the front of their war against us to Iraq and they were resoundingly defeated. It was to our advantage to fight them there and defeat them there. And yes Bush knows more about the military and military operations than Obama especially how to listen to his military leaders and especially how not to tell our enemies, just wait and we will be defeated.

Actually, I did have an extremely high top secret clearance. And I'm equipped with LOGIC.[you can look up the meaning of LOGIC]
And I'm not burdened with slobbering adulation of a failed incompetent idiot.

If I had to venture a guess, I'd guess that Romney and most other presidents would have given the go ahead for the OBL mission long before the blame avoiding weasel obama.

You mean like the rush to war by Bush and the neocons that resulted in the "mistaken" war in Iraq that has cost us so much?

Personally, I'm grateful our current commander thinks long and hard before committing US forces. And his several successes support my point.

My God! What a big sack of FAIL.

Yes. The exit strategy was that we would utterly destroy the ability of the Axis powers to function, and that we would place their territories under military occupation until they were safe and stable enough to be trusted not to rise up against us.

This required an occupying for of one soldier per 40 civilians. Idiot boy B thought, based on what his senile old Sec Def told him, tried to do it with 1:200.

We opened a front with no strategic value while the more critical front was under-manned and gave al Qaeda a target of opportunity and turned hundreds of thousands of people against us. The idiot boy Bremmer destroyed what was left of the Iraqi ecconomy and started selling off assets to foreign investors, which is exactly what keeps Third World nations impoverished and in debt to foreign powers.

The late General Shalikashvilli made it clear to anyone who would listen to him that Bush the Lesser had no clue and that Rummy was pretty much a waste of a chair. General Shinseki, who designed that kick-ass army that toppled Saddam so quickly didn't think the merry morons had a clue how to occupy a country. Trying to disengage from an idiotic war while still showing that we can do harm to their military formations and irregular forces is not showing an enemy that we can be defeated in time. Obama is doing now what Bush the Lesser should have done from 12 SEP 01 onward, but was too stupid to do.

Yeah. It took years because the merry morons wasted the first five years of war torturing people to manufacture the reality in which Rummy's bumblings made sense.

Torture, of course, produces no really reliable intel.

And I had an extremely high TS CNWDI clearance myself so I really don't give a (*)(*)(*)(*) about how high yours was. You were guessing and trying to pawn those guesses off as fact. Clearly, your statements were not ventured guesses, you stated, "Clinton, Bush 1, Bush2, Carter, Reagan ALL would have given the go ahead. Carter actually did on far less Intel." No indication of any "guesswork" in that sentence. And...again.... please tell us HOW you know that Carter gave the go ahead for Eagle Claw with "far less intel"? Not just less, but FAR less. That isn't written as if it were a guess, but by someone who would have his readers believe that he actually KNEW what he was talking about. WHich we both know is total bull feces. Face it...you got caught blowing smoke out of your anus and now you don't have the grace to just admit it.

    Why am I not surprised?

    disappointed, but not surprised.

    pathetic.

    really.
