My sentiments exactly! He's cheap, selfish and obviously desperate to suggest people should give up their wedding gifts and give him the $.... that's real classy, Obummy!

There's the word..."tacky". The man charged with representing America is not only a constantly "evolving" narcissistic sociopath who's never met a lie he won't tell...

he's also pretentiously, unapologetically tacky....not unlike a zirconium encrusted, counterfeit Rolex.

BINGO! You can bet your sweet ass those wedding guests weren't asked to not buy gifts, but donate to him.... his cheapness and arrogance flies right off the chart....

No more tacky than asking poor people to borrow $20k from their parent's non-existent wealth to start a business when even your horse's (*)(*)(*)(*) is gold plated.

Ya know...in my opinion. They're both tacky, insensitive men.

    On that note...wanna know who isn't? :)

I heard that Obama was offering one of his nuts up for auction..but, then that would leave him with no nuts...since Michelle keeps one under tight control in her purse..

You'll come up w/the most feeble-minded excuses to defend his cheapness, tackiness and lack of character.

"You peons don't need gifts of linens, cookware, towels and all the rest of that unnecessary crap! Give ME that $$!" coming from someone who lives in the WH where everything plus is furnished and he has millions in his bank......

Why doesn't he hit up his Hollyweirdo millionaire pals for more $ if he's that desperate?

Paul...we know, we know...too old, too tainted by the concerted efforts of Big Establishment and Big Media.
Perhaps a younger Rand.... continuing in his father's constitutional constructionist footsteps...coupled with 'new media', and an increasingly fed-up-with-establishment-whores citizenry...
will one day cultivate a large enough following to seriously challange the status quo.

Only tainted because even intelligent, handsome, charming people buy into the belief that they most vote for the lesser of two evils rather than follow what's right. Sometimes incredibly smart people think they have to vote for Romney and that it won't hurt anyone even those these devilishly attractive people know deep down that it is still voting for evil.

Donations in lieu of .... a particular charity or a family member w/big medical expenses whom most likely most wedding guests know or some other legit reason that the wedding guests would understand and want to donate to. Maybe some wedding guests already donated to Obama and they're asked to again? TACKY!

Politics should be left out of a wedding....

As I've said before, the intelligent, charming, handsome Swamp Man fears no man or critter....but is terrified of a 2nd term Obama being presented with opportunity to appoint another progressive leftist USSC justice....
the ramifications of such are far too onerous and long lasting to risk standing on a "principled", but thrown away vote.

I wouldn't go to a wedding where I'm asked to not bring a gift, but donate my $ to a particular political party ... no way in hell!

BHO also wants your Christmas money too. What better Christmas present for a teenager than to know that their Christmas gifts were given to BHO so that he could pile more debt on their heads??

Yeh, that's kinda coercion of the worst kind. That's asking you to go against your morals. Much better to give a bread machine.

Don't frown, my empress...I'm capable of voting third party in the national arena...I voted for Ross Perot.... before understanding the ramifications of picking the wrong time to stand on principles...which.... at this exceedingly crucial juncture... a vote for RP would be...the wrong time, that is...IMO.

A dunking booth? He'd raise more money from Republicans than Romney.

I am expecting any day now to see an announcement that Stephanie Cutter, the deputy campaign manager, will take off one item of clothing for ever 100 million dollars they raise. *rollseyes*
