    * Black voters: Obama has nowhere to go but down among this group. His endorsement of gay marriage has alienated many black church-going Christians. He may get 88% of their vote instead of the 96% he got in 2008. This is not good news for obama.

    * Jewish voters: Obama has been weak in his support of Israel. Many Jewish voters and big donors are angry and disappointed. Obama's Jewish support could drop from 78% in 2008 to the low 60's. This is not good news for obama.

    * Youth voters: Obama's biggest and most enthusiastic believers from 4 years ago have graduated into a job market from hell. Young people are disillusioned, frightened, and broke--a bad combination. The enthusiasm is gone. Turnout will be much lower among young voters, as will actual voting percentages. This is not good news for Obama.

    * Catholic voters: Obama won a majority of Catholics in 2008. That won't happen again, especialy since the Catholic Ryan is on the Republican ticket. Out of desperation to please women, Obama went to war with the Catholic Church over contraception. Now he is being sued by the Catholic Church. Majority lost. This is not good news for obama.

    * Small business owners: Obama pursued a war on capitalism and demonized small business owners and at least 40% of those owners who voted for obama 4 years ago are more than willing to give Romney (a successful business owner) a chance this time around. This is not good news for obama.

    * Blue collar working class whites: Do I need to say a thing? White working class voters are about as happyy with obama as Boston Red Sox fans (which I am one) feel about the New York Yankees. This is not good news for obama.

    * Suburban moms: The issue isn't contraception--it's having a job to pay for contraception. Obama's economy frightens these moms. They are worried about putting food on the table. They fear for their children's future. This is not good news for obama.

    * Military Veterans: McCain won this group by 10 points. Romney is winning by 24 points. The more our military vets get to see of obama, the more they dislike him. No veteran is pleased with obama's cutting back on our military expenditures. This is not good news for obama.

Add it up. Is there one major group where obama has gained since 2008? Will anyone in America wake up on election day saying "I didn't vote for obama 4 years ago. But he's done such a fantastic job, I can't wait to vote for him today." Does anyone feel that a vote for obama makes their job more secure, if indeed you even have a job?

Couple more points of interest in predicting obama's landslide demise:

    * Romney is raising more money than obama.
    * He has done so for the past 3 months.
    * Some key democraps are distancing themselves from obama.
    * Many top key democraps refuse to attend the DNC.
    * And obama's recent comment "You didn't build that" is going to hurt him from now til the election.
    * Both obama and Biden will get creamed in the debates.

Great read Libhater, but I have this one very important question for you:

Will this election be affected in any way be voter fraud?

My take is that if this election is legit, Romney wins.

There are going to be some SERIOUS headaches around here when the post-Veep buzz wears off.

The ONLY group of people that Ryan energizes are the people who would've voted for anyone with an R next to his name.

I think the real reason that Romney chose Ryan was to take some of the heat off himself. Now his opponents will have to 1/2 their time between the two. Of course, his opponents on the right might let up a bit with Ryan on board but anyone who things Romney will win in a landslide is either completely deluding themselves or is getting paid by the post...

You're right. There are a lot of losers on welfare and public sector workers who will line up for whoever has the magic D next to their name.

Election fraud is going to be a problem. Slime like Rick Snott in Floriduh are at it again, calling people felons without verifying it. WI is not making ID at all easy to get.

Not a bit of it. That's why the republicons are trying to make it harder to vote.

Obama did that with his war against the Catholic church. They'll support a Mormon just to get rid of Obama.

Don't under estimate the things that the left has going for it...

The 2012 American Left is HOLLOW... Which is to say, they have no soul, conscience or integrity to get in the way.

They control, and have had four years to re-appoint cronnies in the legal machinery of our election system at a Federal level.

It is not how many people vote for each Candidate that matters, it is who Counts the Vote that matters.

I am hired the man to act as chief exective officer of the largest, highest spending Corporation in the world, the corporation of the United States of America.

I am NOT hiring him to be a preacher to give a Sunday sermon.

I could care less about Romney's Religion.

I could care less about Obama's Religion, except where it seems to be leading him into increasing, rather than phasing out race based government institutionalized discrimination.

Looking at his actions, policies, appointments, and executive orders, it is CLEAR that Obama is letting his BLT religion over-influence his judgement.

I would trust a Mormon over a Black Liberation Theologist any day of the week.

If we ever see Romney declare that we all are required to wear his religions version of special underware, I'll begin to worry, but somehow I don't see that happening.

So "we can cut $4.6 trillion in rich-peoples' taxes and still be revenue-neutral without spending cuts!" Ryan is criticizing someone else's numbers? Wow.

Yes, Ryan did say he'd "close loopholes." $4.6 trillion in loopholes, apparently, though he wouldn't name any of these loopholes.

Like the Bush budget, the Romney/Ryan budgets are complete fantasies. They don't even pretend the numbers add up. They know they're making it all up, and they don't care, because they have a compliant conservative MSM covering for them with the "well, opinions differ" nonsense. Arithmetic is only for dirty liberals, you know, and it's far to much to ask that the media do the math and point out Ryan is just making crap up.

So, now that Romney, with his Ryan pick, has put a lock on Florida for Obama, just what is Romney's supposed path to EV victory?

The Ryan pick is most curious. It doesn't energize the GOP base at all, given they only ever cared about hating Obama, and this changes that not in the slightest. Nobody is saying "Ryan? Well, I didn't want to before, but now I'll turn out and vote GOP!". The pick does, however, energize the Democrats to turn out.

Have you been living in a cave these past couple of days? Everything you just posted is just the opposite of what is happening and what will happen come November. The Republican base, the Tea Party and seniors nationwide are all jazzed up and ready to explode with Romney's perfect pick for Veep. Perhaps you hadn't heard Ryan say that his mother is on Medicare and she just happens to live in Florida. You don't think the liberal propaganda machine is going to work against Ryan's precise presenation of the details concerning Medicare....do you? Boy, are you in for a rude awakening.

Speaking of reality as opposed to wishful thinking, the Democrats won two-out-of-three of the congressional special elections (all in Republican-leaning districts) in this cycle specifically by linking the Republican candidate to the Ryan Medicare plan.

Every Republican congressman now has Ryan as a running mate, to the joy of the Democrats. Retaking the House was not a possibility for the Democrats before, but it's a new ballgame now.

You're out there in la-lal land fella. Republicans are going to possibly add seats to congress and will definitely win the Senate and the presidency. Its a complete sweep my friend. Game...Set...Match, the end of socialism as we unfortunately once knew it.
