Sounds reasonable and sane to me. Nothing like all the hype coming from Obama's camp. Speaking of Obama, I'd like to see his plan for helping the middle class. Any of you Obama supporters want to give us a link to his new strategy to turn things around? A list of what he'd do differently would be OK if you don't have a formal plan. I know he's been busy campaigning.

Try merging my signature about pacifists with the clenched hand of the knife in the back of lady liberty in your avatar as a wake up call as to why the doves, the anti war protestors and pacifists are indeed the true traitors to our American strength, to our exceptioanlism and to our American sovereignty.

Obama tools.. where are you? Aren't you gonna at least post some silly pics or something? Obama's being challenged here. Will you rise to the challenge or keep your head buried in the sand?

Check out the quote on the right. Offering to be accountable if things don't improve??? Obama offered to be a one-termer, but he's beating his brains out campaigning for another term. Guess Barack's promises don't mean much, huh?

Wow, generic talking points with few actionable items that will actually have any effect on the middle-class.

The problem with Romney's plan is there are no specifics on how he'll institute his plans. Its too general. Furthermore, some of the cuts will require negotiations with congress and there are no guarantees that he'll be able to come through on his promises.

Good points. Do you have links to where Obama is giving us specifics on how he'll institute his plans?

Oh wait. Obama has no plans. "It's gonna get better" is all he needs, right?

You'll never get it from them. Nor will you get any plans on how he plans to deal with Medicare or Social Security. Liberals are excellent at demagoguery, but ask them to give you a solution and it's crickets. I've noticed this on a variety of internet sites. The first thing they'll do is answer a question with a question, go into attack mode on what's wrong with everyone else's solution, throw out some vitriol, and just go their way. It appears their only answer to everything is "tax the rich" (brilliant!). No problem. That'll go over great during the debates and when Romney finally starts spending his war chest that has been inaccessible until after the RNC. It's going to be an interesting 2 months as the bombs start going off and the Democrats are trying to take cover. The polls are already trending Romney's way and Obama is spending more money than he is taking in (it's the Liberal Way). It can only get worse for them.

Yeah, I know you're right. If they were bright enough to require a well laid-out plan, they wouldn't be voting for Obama in the first place.

No, but then again, I'm not saying that he has any. I"m just commenting on Romney's proposals.

Well, Romney's plan kind of looks like school vouchers and somehow he is going to end China's unfair trade practices. Rather vague, isn't it?

I notice what is not there is a tax cut for the middle class.

President Obama doesn't have an economic plan he can get passed by Congress. That makes him a failed leader.

And that's not just Republicans in Congress since he hasn't gotten a single vote for any of his budgets (Zero, Nada...all Democrats have voted them down). I also notice the trend continues with the previous two posters. The question is "what is Obama's plan"? That's not that hard to understand. Try answering it.

I think it's a better idea to look at how a politician plans to fulfill promises rather than look at the promises themselves, I've seen Obama make promises that are just as big so you should look for a lot more than that on both sides before you decide who you are going to vote for.

That's the point. Whenever Government "has an effect on the middle class" it is always negative. Only the free market principles of neo-liberalist capitalism can help the middle class, and only if the middle class is capable of meeting the system half way through their own self education.

The Middle Class does not need massive Government intervention in the economy to exist, or survive.

Actually, if he gets elected he will have to bend all his economic policies enough to be passed through congress, which means he will, so he can get things through congress.

Romney plan for the middle class voters

increase Americas dependence on oil by opening the flood gates for the oil corporations to drill, spill, and trigger Arab oil wars.

cut all social safety nets, eliminate social security, medicare, make them privatized and run for profits.

create jobs by allowing the rich to trickle down bread crumbs to the masses, in the form of increased minimum wage jobs, instead of high skilled labor for democratic intellectuals.

I guess they just can't help it. When asked a direct question on what Obama's plan is, the just automatically avoid the question and go into demagoguery. It's gotta be the genes.

Surprising they're STILL willing to take Barack at his word. Guess blind faith has no limits, huh?

Obama's broken promises. (not a COMPLETE list by any means)

Show us his plan, Obama supporters. Insanity is defined as doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. Look at these broken promises, one has to wonder... are you insane?

I totally agree. When you see something in print about what Obama plans to do different in his next term, please share it with us. Seems those who've already decided to vote for him are content with verbal promises. As you can see by the list I just posted, his verbal promises aren't worth the oxygen it takes to make 'em.
