Glad I'm able to get in here before the reaction I'm sure you are expecting. OUTSTANDING POST! This man has been an excellent President and I pray that the American people are going to hear at least some of this.
When the majority of Obama's Legislation defies The Will of The People....Im not so sure you want to go touting his "accomplishments"..... ....granted the OP thinks these are all wonderful policies.....hopefully when we flush the Kenyan Turd on Nov. 6, she will realize the majority of Americans do not share her views. . . .
Voted against the Bush/Republican 2007 budget that had a measly deficit of only $161 billion, the third year in a row the deficit fell. Supported and voted for the Democrat budget on 2008 that more than doubled the deficit Supported and voted for and then signed into law as President the 2009 budget that increased the deficit by almost 10 times from 2007 to $1,400 billion. Came into the White House after TARP had been passed the financial crisis averted thanks to Bush. Came into the White House as the job loss rate bottomed out and began a rebound he saved nothing. Passed an $800,000,000,000 stimulus that did not go into effect until after the recession had ended and the jobless losses rebound which did nothing to stimulate the economy in to a full recovery. Worst job creation/unemployment record since the Depression after selling his stimulus plan on the premise it would keep unemployment below 8%, it was over 8% for 44 months. Lowest labor participation rate since the Depression, real unemployment rate still over 10%. Food Stamp usage increase by almost 50% 3 bills passed claiming to fix the mortgage crisis, 3 failures. Billions wasted on "green energy" as the Boy Economist plays with taxpayer money on his failed schemes. GDP lower this year than last, last year lower than the year before, barely over 1% growth when we should be in a vibrant recovery. Illegally took over control of GM, illegally stole the money of the bond holders, illegally stole the pensions on the non-union workers and gave it to the union workers, More than $20B taxpayer money will never be recovered, more than $30B loss on stock still held by the government and GM still on shaky financial ground. Those are just some of the economic failures and fiasco's his failed leadership and policies have created. Why on earth would you keep this fool in office? And BTW the line about he "created more jobs than Bush". Presidents don't create jobs, businesses create jobs. During the Bush administration we had 52 months of full employment, even in the slowdown/recession he inherited unemployment peaked at just 6.5% and at that for only ONE month. You don't need to create a lot of new jobs when everyone is working. Why do you prefer Obama's 8% unemployment over 52 months of full employment?
" He oversaw the creation of an initiative that converts old factories and manufacturing centers into new clean technology centers. http://bit.ly/mjnq2R" OK, how much did it cost and what did we get for it? Post the successes.
I couldn't even get passed the first bullet. Fiscal responsibility? Really? You are going to lead your argument with fiscal responsibility for the least fiscally responsible president in history? You should tried to build some credibility with a "he killed Osama" or something. Record deficits, record debt, us credit rating downgraded, those are the results of this president. The list of supposedly good policy moves you listed is entirely meaningless given the terrible results.
And there is utter nonsense such as The auto INDUSTRY did not need a bailout! GM and Chrylser and their unions were in financial trouble. We have a HUGE auto Industry here in the South employing millions of AMERICANS. They make some of the biggest selling and best made vehicles in the world. The workers here, AMERICAN workers, compete against the workers at GM and Chrysler. Obama took their money and invested in their competition and gave millions to the unions they reject in order to give those workers an unfair advantage over them. AND Obama stole the money of the bond holders and non-union workers pensions.
"When Obama took office, the national debt was about $10.5 trillion. Today, its about $15.2 trillion. Simple subtraction gets you the answer preferred by most of Obamas opponents: $4.7 trillion. But ask yourself: Which of Obamas policies added $4.7 trillion to the debt? The stimulus? That was just a bit more than $800 billion. TARP? That passed under George W. Bush, and most of it has been repaid." Article
Well one was his plan to lower the unemployment rate by putting more people on government subsistence and making fewer tax payers.
and here we are 4 years later, the country is thriving, energy is cheap, jobs are plentiful, crime and poverty are down, and i got a free cell phone to boot
oh ya... the sea levels have dropped, global warming has been reversed, the world loves us, we're out of Iraq and Afganistan, our diplomats our safe, gun running to Mexico has been stopped, and my car runs off solar power produced at solyindra
And when he says "Obama Supporters", he means Republicans. You know what else is inconvenient for you? With every tick of the clock, your party and it's policies becomes more antiquated.
Guess you think Saddam was hella cool goin on TV giving lotto lookin checks to the familys of suicide bombers. No reason at all for going there. Wonder why all the libs voted to autherise force in Iraq?
Barack Obama "Public Will Have 5 Days To Look At Every Bill That Lands On My Desk" In actuallity this didn't happen and it was an outright lie. Credit card bill of rights passed without five-day break Updated: Tuesday, May 26th, 2009 | By Angie Drobnic Holan
http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/promises/obameter/promise/234/allow-five-days-of-public-comment-before-signing-b/ I could go through this list and continue to point out flaws but why bother.
Thank you. I agree the man has done an outstanding job despite all the obstructionist tactics by the opposition. It's noteworthy that his accomplishments list would be much larger if the right wouldn't have blocked so many bills in congress, many of which they wrote and sponsored. When Democrats had control those first 2 years, Republicans set a historic record, filibustering over 360 times.
You really should also address Harry Reids tabling of every single bill that the House sends him and passing cloture on each one. He is committed to not allowing any votes or any debate on any republican sponsored bill. The fact that you ignore this is really tellling about how easily you will dismiss any negative things that democrats do. It invalidates your post as anything more than partisan rambling.
The OP is total unadulterated horse(*)(*)(*)(*). Obama is the worst president in US history. Jimmy Carter smiles himself to sleep every night knowing that he is no longer the worst. BTW, Chavez, Castro, and Putin support obama, all he needs is kim and ahmadinejad to complete the list of dictators that are abusing their people and blocking freedom. Anyone care to guess why these guys support obama? Anyone realize that our enemies want a weak president?
