Easy, Move FAR, FAR, FAR to the LEFT. It is time to know create a German-style INDUSTRIAL POLICY to PURPOSELY create manufacturing jobs inside the USA. Time to add to Obamacare, bringing it closer to the eventual implementation of a single payer system. Time for a massive Roosevelt-style infrastructure initiative, paid for by tax increases on the rich, to directly employ millions of Americans for the next 30 years upgrading all of our state's and cities infrastructures. Time to take over and put a stranglehold on higher education to significantly reduce the cost and take all profit out of it. And finally, take a lead pipe and administer a major brutal beat down to Wall Street, both directly and indirectly, severely limit what their purpose will be and what they can do and also make some of the criminals of '08 -and their CHILDREN - disappear, Stalin-style! Of course he is a center right moderate so he won't do any of these POSITIVE things, but at least we won't have Romney/Ryan turning our country into a vision the *********'s Mad Max Thunderdome world. Hopefully, Obama can do something to move POSITIVELY to the left, like at least FLIP OF Grover Nordquist and raise taxes on the wealthy, but even total gridlock is better than implementing the destructive Ayn Rand agenda.

    I'm for total gridlock.

Once we stroll over that fiscal cliff looming in the distance you will see the democrats tossed from Congress to combat our new recession. Then in 2016 we will elect a republican and give a supermajority to the republicans in Congress and we can finally delete every single entitlement program in the Nation.

Yes, it was good Obama won.

I don't know? Seems to me that Obama winning - even though he was a pisssss poor, weak assss president,, and the Senate gaining for Dems, signals that he has a mandate to RAISE TAXES on the rich and STRENGTHEN the entitlement programs.

But it won't happen. Don't forget, they also returned the House to the republicans. The Senate was already democrat controlled and the House stayed with the republicans so good luck with that. A mandate would have been if the republicans lost the House, which they didn't.

Do you know what a mandate even is?

But go ahead, try and raise taxes and strengthen entitlements lol. I'm sure you can negotiate.....oh wait, Obama doesn't compromise with the republicans does he?

Oh well,,,,,,gridlock here we come! :)

They only lost the Presidency, the House was returned to them fully intact. :)

Last time I checked its Congress that writes legislation and controls the money.

You can have the Presidency lol

Obama doesn't compromise? He's a RIGHT OF CENTER MODERATE that has given away the farm to the Republicans, the gridlock only happens because even while Obama gives in on 90% of everything, the *********s won't budge even 1%. Good, I'm all for gridlock as well, better than enacting the ruinous Romney/Ryan agenda. If Romney had won, I would have rooted for the Dems to filibuster EVERYTHING, including resolutions supporting fallen troops!

The rich will off shore their money and close down businesses if the profit margin drops below expectations.
Obama will still borrow trillions for social programs and add it to the overall debt.
Meanwhile, 10,000 baby boomers retire every day. And the labor force that should be there to pay for their retirement through social security keeps shrinking.
Oh, and let's not forget that the full brunt of obamacare is just around the corner. I think the fact that it budgets for 16,000 lawyers and not a single doctor tell us the nature of that mandate is.
Gas will eventually reach $5 a gallon. Which will drive up the cost of everything else.
All the while obama and the democrats will tell the people to accept this "new normal" as they fight off the 'bush economy' or 'the TEA party' or 'the house republicans', or they may just start blaming some other innocent party for their incompetence.

    Oh, we're screwed all right.

What exactly has Obama compromised on again?

I look forward to hearing this.

The rich don't have enough money to implement your desires...even if you took ALL of it.

    Shhhh, let them believe it.

Then when they do finally realize it and have to tax the middle class people will realize what a crock of s**t the democrats have been spewing and we can say "I told you so".

America voted for gridlock. Gridlock is good. Embrace the gridlock. Gridlock is the perfect state for businesses. When there wasn't gridlock, what did we get? Obamacare and Dodd Frank, two enormous job killers the extended the recession for at least three more years and possibly seven more years.
