    How effective do you think the ban would be? I think it would just disarm law-abiding blacks who are most likely to be killed by black criminals.

    I simply answered your question ... the white-conservative-based NRA *ethos* is to only uphold the Constitutions' 1st & 2nd Amendments ... as if the Constitution is only and/or should only be comprised of these two Amendments ...

    My wife was going to take my daughter to Macy's to shop for pants where most of the shooting took place this afternoon. They would have been there at the time of the shooting but I grounded my daughter for being a heinous (*)(*)(*)(*)(*) and took a little grief from my wife for doing so. Weird. I was listening to all the sirens as I walked home today. They were endless.

    I can see it now on the US.gov website. "It has been ____ days since a mass murder."

    This becoming so common place. I don't expect it to get any better either.

    wouldn't that stimulate something like an arms race for superior weapons?

    it would likely be difficult to outmatch an armored, well armed perpetrator in a reasonable time

    At least the gunman is dead. Takes some honor. At least he isn't sucking up the government cheese in prison for the rest of his/her life and saying he didn't do it.
