Read the OP again. The explanation is made by O'Mara as to why it IS relevant:

Why are people twisting themselves into knots for druggie Trayvon. The law and facts are clear in this case yet some are in such denial they will ignore the truth because some violent punk attacked George and was killed. It makes no sense. If new evidence came out tomorrow that proved George was guilty I would not hesitate to say throw him in jail.

Show us the assault law that Zimmerman violated by getting out of his truck and walking in his own neighborhood. Show us how his actions fit the elements of the crime.

You made a bold statement and now you are backpedaling with a boatload of "ifs".

    When did Zimmerman threaten TM?

Your argument that Zimmerman must have threatened TM because GZ shot him is an example of the post hoc ergo propter hoc fallacy.

Don't know how he was able to get his gun with Martin on top. They say that he did a reenactment of it for police. and this witness said,

In addition, an eyewitness, 13-year-old Austin Brown, told police he saw a man fitting Zimmerman’s description lying on the grass moaning and crying for help just seconds before he heard the gunshot that killed Martin.

But if Martin lost Zimmerman, wouldn't the threat be over? Didn't Martin put himself back in harm's way by confronting Zimmerman? The girlfriend said she only heard one exchange before the phone went dead. "Why are you following me" and "What are you doing here" then what sounded like a scuffel. Zimmerman said he went to get his phone. Martin might have thought he went after a gun and hit Zimmerman and knocked him to the ground.

It's like trying to have a conversation with someone who's sitting in the lounge in 'One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest'. 'What's His Name Be Praised'.

Look at where the truck was parked and listen to what George says.

GZ walked thru from Twin Trees to Retreat View Circle to find an address for the police where he WASN'T.. turned around and walked back.

GZ says he NEVER walked South from the T..

Trayvon's body is found nearly 50 feet south of the T with his cellphone.

So GZ claims TM ambushed him at the T... punching him, smothering him and banging his head on the sidewalk..

So TM carried out this savage beating with ONE HAND?

George is lying about where he was and what he was doing. He was in the dog walk looking for Trayvon.

So what else is he lying about?

It took me forever to SEE it.. until I finally saw the layout of the streets.

Pretty simple: Zimmerman would have stayed in his truck if he was not determined to chase the kid!

Well if he was in the dog walk looking for Martin, that would mean Martin got away from him.

I wouldn't say Martin ambushed him, confronting him would be more accurate.

Really? Not according to what the girl friend over heard on the phone! In fact, she heard Zimmerman address Trayvon, and Trayvon answering by the question: "why are you following me." THEN there was a scuffle. . .and the rest is history.

Funny how you agree with any pro-Trayvon post no questions ask but when someone posts something you don't like you demand proof.....silly.

    Look at your posts.

You never back up what you claim.

You constantly assume and outright lie.

If Martin came back and asked "Why are you following me" And Zimmerman said "What are you doing here" and then heard what sounded like a struggle before the phone went dead. That doesn't mean Martin couldn't have lost him and then come back and confronted Zimmerman?

Read George's statements, watch the reenactment video and look at the locations.

George was NOT walking back to his truck.. He was hunting Trayvon.. That's why he was banging his flashlight at the T.. he didn't want to walk down the dog walk in the dark.

He was still actively hunting Trayvon.

You are ASSUMING That Martin came back! Since he was talking to his girlfriend, it seems that he would have at least hung up from his phone call if he had any intention to "attack" the creepy older guy who was following him.

The location of Trayvon's body and cellphone make George a liar.

Even if we were to pretend that what you are saying is true, George would have never found Trayvon. Trayvon was long gone, and right by his house according to Dee Dee. Why didn't he just go inside?

Right by.. is not particularly instructive.. Trayvon was 70 yards from the house.

You are tempted to blame the victim because he wasn't a mind reader.

I don't think he planned to attack Zimmerman. I think he decided to go back and confront him and find out why he was following him. I think that when Zimmerman went for his phone to tell police where they were, Martin might of either got mad and hit him, or thought he was going for a weapon and hit him.

I have no problem with the Court allowing the defense access to this information but the question of it's admissibility is also addressed in the State v Munoz case.

    http://www.leagle.com/xmlResult.aspx?xmldoc=In FLCO 20101013177.xml&docbase=CSLWAR3-2007-CURR

So the issue of establishing foundation is necessary before the evidence can be presented in court. Unlike the case of Munoz where actions of Mr. Suarez reflected his past behavior I don't know how Martin's prior actions before moving to Florida would be relevant.

Remember that Zimmerman had been following Martin creating a potential threat, not the other way around, and that after losing contact with each other they accidently came in close contact re-establishing a threat and because of proximity it was no longer a potential threat but became an immediate threat. Martin had taken no aggressive actions prior to the immediate threat developing but instead had been trying to evade a potential threat.

This is unlike the case of Mr. Suarez where he was bandishing a firearm presenting a threat to Munoz. I don't know if Zimmerman's attorney can establish a foundation for the presentation of the evidence would would believe that the Court should allow the evidence if the foundation required can be established. What act did Martin commit prior to the physical confrontation which would have caused Zimmerman to fear for his personal safety? What act at or about the time of the incident did Martin commit that would bring the issue of past actions into evidence?

Once again I'm not on the jury and my opinion is very limited to what I read and not actual evidence that may be introduced. All I know is that I'd hate to be in Zimmerman's situation but then I would never be in Zimmerman's situation because I wouldn't have violated the Neighborhood Watch Guidelines. I wouldn't have been armed and I certainly wouldn't have followed Martin. I would probably have called 911 and reported Martin, which is all that the Neighborhood Watch Guidelines advocate, and then set in my car and waited for the police to arrive. That's what Zimmerman should have done, that's all that Zimmerman should have done, and I believe that everyone knows that. I'm fairly sure that the jury will be made aware of this by the prosecution at the trial.

This is likely what happened. However, I think Martin went way too far.

Had Martin only punched Zimmerman after Zimmerman reached for his phone, and then ran way, I guarantee he would be alive today.

Where he screwed up was when he decided to get on top of Zimmerman and beat the crap out of him.

George wasn't going for his phone... Another lie.

George's phone was in a small, zippered breast pocket on his jacket.

George had his flashlight in one hand and the other hand was "empty"..

Why didn't he break his fall?

Come on, Trayvon had ample time to go home or get help if he was truly scared. He could have called the cops or his dad from his cell phone. He could have went to a neighbors house and asked for help. You've seen what Zimmerman looks like. Do you really think some short fat guy can legitimately chase down a six foot 17 year old athlete? It's just not realistic.

There is a HUGE lesson here folks. It is one of unbridled and schocking hypocrisy.
That the Left and Obama himself are manifestly guilty of.
That the Left in the Media find it absolutely acceptable and even worthy of
reward to immediately dig into every aspect of George Zimmerman's
past life and exploit with total negativity.
Obama does the exact same thing. That is how he won his State Senate
seat in Illinois.Thru revealing sealed court divorce documents on his republican
challenger.Or how Mitt Romney was attacked as of some Corporate raider
and Rich guy who loathes average americans { the 47% }.
How much does Romney give to charity.
So If Turnabout is fair play,as we have seen firsthand the demonization of
George Zimmerman to heights almost unheard of.Now,when the shoe is on
the other foot and it's just common sense to reply in kind,we will be INSTRUCTED
that anything in Trayvon's past that indicates violence or outright troublemaking
will Not be Tolerated.Oh is that say.Says Who.
Those who have hijacked this Country and are actively trying to Mind Control
anyone who upsets their Obama applecart.
    This is Tyranny.
The Trayvon Martin case was a BETA case to see how far Chicago style
LIES and thuggery could acheive an end.
    Is thewre any doubt.
The Country is being bridled to get upset. On purpose.
How about instead of Universal background checks for ALL gun owners
we have a New Rule.Universal Background checks for ALL Presidents.
Two can and should play the same game.
