Why should government be involved in making birth control easier or harder to get? There's nothing stopping anyone from walking down the street and buying birth control. Is it any wonder we lost the election. I'm against most abortions. I sure don't think they should be used as a form of birth control. But in cases of rape, the life of the mother, or if the baby is to be born with a birth defect that can't be fixed or will cause the parents a fortune in medical care and constant care, it should be allowed. I think it is time the Republican Party to get real.

IMO, the acceptability is is based more on timing than reason. It's hard for me to understand the difference between terminating an early pregnancy because of deformity or other reason, beyond rape and incest. Beyond rape and incest, it's should either be OK or not OK.
And if it's OK in the case of rape or incest than all abortions should be OK...an abortion is an abortion.....anyone who say otherwise is just a misogynist who wants to punish women for having enjoyed the sex...
