Politics is not a left right thing. I'm a straight up libertarian and my foundation is the Constitution. If you have a problem with the Constitution, then you have a problem with me. Your condescending tone doesn't impress me either. This ain't my first time at the rodeo, honey.
Anything is an assault weapon, when it is used to assault someone. Der.... Really? Tell everyone you know, quickly. Hint...start in africa. They need the most help. Not the USA.
Make you a deal, we'll quit being drama queens, if you guys quit being statist monsters who want to destroy everything this country is about. Deal? Didn't think so. Deal with it.
You have to prove that an armed civilian army is incapable of dismantling a tyrannical government in order for me to take your question seriously.
Reality is the scariest thing to the average liberal/statist/leftist. That is why the pass so many laws and regulations to insulate them from it. For all their efforts, they have yet to outlaw Reality. - - - Updated - - - Or a liberal/statist...just sayin'... Freedom has its price. Troll harder, I'm not impressed.
No one has to explain or justify the 2nd amendment. The militia is the people. The Constitution gives us all the right to keep and bear arms. Period, end of story.
Yep, it's not the gun, it's the person. I've never shot anyone....and thankfully, I've never had to even point a gun at anyone. <so far>
No, I really don't. You need the actual armed civilian army first. And you won't ever get it at this rate. As for what you "take seriously," that's your own problem. I don't much care. Neither does the truth. A gun isn't helping you today. Maybe in 1778.
While I can tell I already do have a problem with you, you appear to have your own problem with the Constitution. I.E., actually understanding it. Yet yours does somehow? LOL Nor mine. And I'm not your honey. Whatever you do, a self-proclaimed "Constitutionalist" should actually understand the Constitution. - - - Updated - - - If that's what you need to tell yourself. K, take care.
Honestly I can say great /// I sure hope he don't (*)(*)(*)(*) you off sweetie!... Miss you angel......................
"In 2012, approximately 36,200 traffic deaths occurred in the United States" http://ehstoday.com/safety/us-traffic-fatalities-increased-2012 "From 2005-2009, there were an average of 3,533 fatal unintentional drownings (non-boating related) annually in the United States" http://www.cdc.gov/homeandrecreationalsafety/water-safety/waterinjuries-factsheet.html "In the United States, annual deaths resulting from firearms total 2011: 32,163" http://www.gunpolicy.org/firearms/region/united-states And some projections; " American Gun Deaths to Exceed Traffic Fatalities by 2015" http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-...ths-to-exceed-traffic-fatalities-by-2015.html I could not find any government numbers on firearm deaths, but a general search consistently put the number at over 30k a year... which is shocking to me.
You marxists can (*)(*)(*)(*) and moan all you want about the interpretation of the 2nd Amendment, but the Supreme Court's opinion is the one that counts at the end of the day, and they say you're wrong.
Yes, we can do better. We can restrict gun ownership and use better with more regulations to prevent more deaths... just as we do with cars and swimming pools.
So the price of freedom is innocent dead children at the hands of a man made weapon? Very nice. I'm glad as long as it's not the Government killing people you are fine with it.
Part of it yes. The cost is blood and life. Sadly the universe doesn't discriminate who it must come from. That's pretty dark. I wonder why you revel in the death of children? Don't presume to understand me when you put forth now effort to attempt to get to know me. I don't think killing anybody is a good thing, unless they really warrant it - serial offenders, murder, people who simply will not adapt to society.
So man made weapons that fire bullets rapidly and used to kill people is simply the cost of your freedom? That doesn't sound very logical. You act like these weapons have been around since the Constitution was written, lol. I don't, just making a factual statement unlike you who only has paranoia. So for you to satisfy your paranoia you are fine with man made weapons that spray out tons of bullets? You sound like a logical person. Watch out for those black helicopters... they are coming for!!
Because the SCOTUS debunked that argument... NEXT? I'm from CA...that's a lie. Like the OP? --- that is an leftist trait exclusively.
Why don't we look at things other than giving away all of our rights? Sometimes the simplest solution is the best. How about reinstitutionalizing crazy people? How about simple immigration reform to stop bringing in people from places where stuff blows up all the time? How about stopping subsidies for fatherless households? Why don't we stop giving Ritalin,Adderall, and psychotropic drugs to our kids in schools?
Because you have already banned my Barrett 82A1--- so now, you justify why it is you think that I need to justify any of my constitutional rights to you... or any other of you F'n tyrants?
Yours too, don't forget yourself. Freedom is often quite messy. But humans by and large are not the most logical bunch. The desire for freedom vs. security is illogical at its core, yet people seem to do it all the time. I think your angst is best channeled towards the human condition. Less so at my statement. Doesn't matter. Not really in the least. I know where you'll with this one, and frankly - I don't care. If a man needs a trailer hitch to move his arsenal about it is fine by me that he has them. The moment he misbehaves with them, then I'll contemplate what to do with him, not the rest of his neighbors that have done nothing wrong. Paranoid? Are you one of them? Quick to insult, slow to think and reason. Poorly baited hook. Try harder. What? Where?! How can they read my mind with my tin foil shields on?!! These new world problems are merely old world problems with a different cast and environment. Nothing more. As is this conversation.
