And having a witness testify he saw Thugvon on top of Zimmerman beating him? That DEFINITELY sounds like a witness for the defense.

O'Mara's handling of the latest Prosecution star witness was brilliant. He turned into as good of a Defense witness as could be had. The lead investigator, now saying that the only possibility in his mind was:

"George had to either be telling the truth, or he was a pathological liar. It was one or the other. I believed he was telling the truth."

 

.. not a pretty sight....

 

Indeed,O'Mara should start the morning by approaching the first cross by telling the judge "the defense rests your honor.".

 

it's the same war my male Hindu relatives in India have been losing for 50 years.

my grandfather in India said he thinks being a conservative is the only logical way to live.
he looks at the liberal left in the US as a bunch of idiots and he says liberalism is a disease which is now spreading to India.

when I ask him why, he says it's because liberalism is about making everything acceptable and he think change for the sake of change is meaningless and dangerous.

but even in India the tide is changing and it is definitely on the "event horizon" level here in the US. I just feel the older generation has been forced to see such a great change so quickly that they are unable to adapt. And this is why they will try and justify what happened to Martin - because they see it as a push back against the social liberalization of the US.
