We have nearly 2% of Republican Senators over the past 10 years pleading guilty to making sexual advances to undercover police officers in airport mens rooms.
Yet only 100 convictions for voter fraud over 8 years, out of billions of votes.
Just to put the numbers in perspective, it looks like there is an issue with less than 1 out of 10,000,000 votes, and about 1 out of 50 GOP Senators pleads guilty to soliciting sex in airport mens rooms.................

 

When arrested would you want the Senator to present positive identification of himself to the officer?

The Benghazi murders. So, tell us, oh RAT Worshipper, tell us indeed that you would not be frothing at the mouth over the impeachment of any GOP president who took a nap and allowed a flunky who not only wasn't elected but held no Senate comfirmation to give orders to the United States miliarty to stand down when a US embassy is attacked. Tell us you wouldn't be demanding the resignation of the generals obeying such an illegal order, and tell us you wouldn't be demanding a special prosecutor and rolling heads. Tell us this in a sentence that includes the name of Valerie Plame....after all, so many people died because Bush didn't leak Plame's name, right? After all, Richard Armitrage did the leaking.

"IF" you are protecting the sanctity of voting. Closing precincts where there are majority minority voters, closing Sunday voting, restricting early voting, eliminating same day registration, eliminating 16/17 yr. old's from preregistering, making it harder for college students to vote by getting a special government ID, only having a certain number of polls open where it is impossible to accommodate the whole population of that area is not protecting the sanctity of voting. It is cheating our american citizenry from voting. And, it is racism. And there is no case on this planet that can justify it.

 

The attempt has already been completed. Now the fight to get the right to vote begins once again for the disenfranchised.

 

These things have nothing to do with voter suppression.

Are you kidding me? I'm laying on top of the topic. This is not "just" about ID. "The governor signs law to further restrict voters" is the topic. And along for the ride with the ID. requirement, are those restrictions and eliminations I mentioned. They all came along for the same ride together for an intended purpose; to make it harder for certain groups to vote. The ID. is just a front used for the much larger significant voter suppression schemes that are being implemented that accomplish the real voter suppression.

 

Liberal Logic: requiring ID is racist; therefore, drivers licenses are racist, airport photo ID is racist, photo ID to purchase liquor or cigs = racist. Something as trivial as VOTING, though, shouldn't require a photo ID....LOL.

If its necessary to be able to present photo ID for the things I listed then it should be equally required for voting.

Furthermore, your claim is that requiring voter ID disenfranchises certain segments of people. If that's the case then all forms of required ID also disenfranchise people....
