Which is bizarre since not one tea partier has ever served in the armed forces.

Nice PR move. Obviously the gullible neocons fell for it hook, line, and sinker.

You're one lost dude ... as the example ... you voted for Bush & Cheney who dodged the draft and serving in combat ... then you voted for McKook who had you believing he's a war hero because he disobeyed orders and was shot down and got his ass beat by the V.C. ... then you actually voted for this guy ...

Mitt Romney on the beaches of Normandy after fleeing to France to avoid the Viet Nam War ...

do you really want to compare Bush's, Cheny's and McCains military service versus Clinton, Gore, and Obamas? really?

Commendable in theory but nothing more than a GOP political ploy.

Hate to break this to ya, but Ovomit is now the prez. and he (*)(*)(*)(*)ING OWNS THIS. There is absolutely no excuse for this behavior. Anyone who agrees with this is along the same mentality of Ovomit.

I do not understand your motives. You are clearly clever. You clearly have the capacity to understand the rhetoric Obama supporters have swallowed and disavowed. You have to have a familial or financial incentive to wage your arguments. You seize on RW rhetoric. You have a fine tuned filter... you just ignore the larger contributor to that filter, to position yourself. You are a never ending left machine. I am a libertarian. You are probably more aligned with me than you think, in principal, but then you would have to have principals.

Yes PR, as in public relations, as in one side attempting to have a positive relationship with the public while the other side feeds lies and preys upon emotion and ignorance.

Shall I provide an example? Yes I shall:

CNN host Suzanne Malveaux had an entire segment of her show today about how "200 children sick with cancer who were turned away from the National Institutes of Health due to the Republican induced government shutdown." Yet earlier that same morning H.J. RES. 73 - RESEARCH FOR LIFESAVING CURES ACT passed in the House of Representatives and was sent to the Senate. Did Ms Malveaux make any mention of this? Of course not, because its not her job to deliver you the facts. Its her job to poke your emotions like kindling in fire.

So in these examples we have two different "PR moves" one with the positive honoring of veterans and the other a trust twisting manipulation.

Here is the joint resolution for your review. ...and do we ever need to ask what happened once it was sent to the Senate?

So, the RNC wants to fund the WWII memorial... is that an offer for a more permanent arrangement? Because, I think, weren't they saying before that they want to privatize some government spending? Well here's their chance to start.

I don't like gestures like this. As nice as they are they are obviously political and set a dumb standard.

This is similar to Dems bringing out one random crying chick IMO

That's right, Obama closed it to show the power of being an asshat.
