Fox news this morning reports that now the EPA wants to have power over all lakes and ponds in the country no matter how small. They want to dictate to the owner what he can or cannot do on the land surrounding the lake. Tell me libs if a rancher in north central Nebr has a pond on his property that is easily 10 miles from any other building or structure, and want to build a vacation cabin on that pond, what business is if of the EPA? IMO is is just another ignorant power grab by the fed government where they have no business being in.
Section 404 of the Clean Water Act is written so nebulously that the White House driveway could be subject to these regs. What possible excuse is there for law written so sloppily?

They don't care about the pond as much as they care about the fact the owner may want to build a vacation cabin. It doesn't matter if the owner dug the pond himself with a teaspoon ... It is the fact that he has the money to build a vacation cabin that really pisses them off.
The poorly written Clean Water Act pre-dates Hussein Obama by decades. What has changed is the interpretation. If a law can be interpreted in such a heinous manner, the law has to be changed. Legislators always trump judges.

Okay, ENOUGH!! We cannot have a nation where people are literally ALLOWED to do WHATEVER they wish with/to the environment. If the EPA oversees what some people do to things sitting out in nature (the environment that sustains us ALL)... then I'm FOR it. We have to put the brakes on, somewhere.
