I am not sure what you mean Eighty Deuce. I can only pay the price that Walmart asks for the item. I mean I suppose I could tip the workers but is that what you are talking about? Or are you talking about going somewhere else to buy my items?

That said, if you are talking about somewhere else to buy my items, I generally don't do that because I personally find going to Walmart to be quite convenient. So, what I was saying in my previous post is that I would prefer that Walmart pay their employees a just wage rather than the miserable one they receive and then simply raise prices on items to make up for any difference.

is this your first trip around the planet too ? Thousands of businesses around the country do the very same thing every year at this time.
People give what they can to help others who may have fallen on hard times, for example, injuries, sickness, death of spouse, homes destroyed by fire, various personal tragedies, etc.
I can't believe you need this explained to you.

    BTW, witness the future...

if rightwing ideology ever were to win in this country. ALL business would be "Wal-mart"(figuratively...maybe even literally)....and ALL of us would be treated as Walmart employees are.

This incident...is but a taste of the "Conservative Utopia".

I am confused. Why do you think that right wing ideology would result in everyone being low wage workers?

I don't need it explained to me. What I am saying is they don't get much from the employees because they are all having hard times..

what's that, people helping others who may have fallen on hard times ? Imagine that ?
I know this idea is foreign to you, as you'd expect others to do the actual helping on your behalf.

Jamie Dimon isn't. His bank gets tens of billions of dollars in free money every month from the government.

That's just crazy. I am as far right as it gets. You can believe is smaller government and people taking care of themselves if you give them the tools to do so.. Like livable wages.

Actually, "conservative Utopia" is more like Texas.. while liberal " livable wages" Utopia is more like Detroit...

Yes, we DO have quite a recovery from the Republican losses of 800,000 jobs per month. Thank you, Obama!

What is particularly odd is that our "job creators" STILL have the lowest tax rates in 50 years, the most MASSIVE profits, ENORMOUS amounts of cash, ENORMOUS amounts of wealth socked away in the Cayman Islands, etc., yet seem to be unable to create GOOD jobs in the USA!

Yet what do Republicans propose? Getting rid of MINIMUM WAGE and UNIONS! Wages are already so low people earning those wages need food donations, while Walmart continues record profits!

Exactly HOW is getting rid of the things that barely keep wages at a miserable level going to "make things better"??? Its nothing but the perennial Republican lie of the "trickle down" from the billionaires is going to make us ALL rich on the resulting yellow snow!

What ever happened to companies giving turkeys for Thanksgiving to their employees? My last employer gave 20.00 gift cards for Thanksgiving and a 200.00 Christmas bonus. This company was one business not a Large corporation like Walmart.
