    http://newsfeed.time.com/2013/12/22/george-zimmerman-painting-apparently-worth-100099-99/

It is awesome that George included the phrase "justice for all" since many were only interested in justice for Trayvon. Tray on did get justice and so did George except for the phony prosecution of a crime he didn't commit. This painting selling for what it did shows how unpopular and irrelevant the campaign was against George. It should be celebrated that our justice system withstood this kind of lynching.

I can't stand ZImmerman but if that was his first attempt at painting it isn't half bad.

It's actually not bad, I love the use of shading with the oils and the texture of the flag. He has some talent for this.

I thought we all knew Zimmerman for his ability to paint a picture that a particular demographic would undoubtedly buy.

A big part of an artist's selling power is their personality and reputation. This may even be the beginning of a new thing for him. Have you seen the picture of him holding up the painting? He looks very happy and proud. He can tell that it's good. I'm sure there will be many more put up and if this isn't the full extent of his talent, he could easily be the next big painter.

And if some anti-Zimmerman kook finally catches up with him and kills him, that $100,000 will turn out to be a great investment.

    Gotta love capitalism.

I don't think GZ realizes that this income is taxable at the marginal tax rate. Given that he will not be divorced by 12/31, he will be filing married filing separately with a marginal tax rate of 28%. Hopefully, GZ will set aside about a third of that money for taxes while the rest will go to his other obligations.

Hopefully George will make a ton of money. He deserves some good luck after what Democrats did to him for defending his neighborhood from a lil' terrorist.

I bet Hitler's paintings would have been a hit on Ebay as well.

To quote the great Gordon Gekko.

"A fool and his money are lucky enough to get together in the first place."

If someone has a $100,000 to spend on contrived artwork whose only claim to fame is the criminal trial of the artist, then more power to them.

    Now, that's funny.

    - - - Updated - - -

We'll all pretend that we're unaware of the attempted RAILROADING of Zimmerman by the media, and the Fed-pushed prosecution, so your pretense can work, ok?

I am discussing the thread topic. If you want to discuss the merits of the case, then I would daresay there are plenty of threads for that.

I'll pretend that there aren't grown men on this forum patting a grown man on the back for using a gun to kill a unarmed teenager whom he outweighed by 50lbs in a fist fight.
