He is a political opinion maker in the same vein as oreilly, hannity, maddow, shultz and the rest of the talking heads. Limbaugh at times uses satire in his commentaries and rants, but only as an occasional device as his limited wit allows him.

for the most part they want to hear jokes and laugh. Granted a few of their audiences attempt to garner their news from such shows but its a way smaller % than those who obtain their political opinions from Rush.

People can watch these movies and make up their own mind of their quality. I haven't seen this movie so I will not judge it but if politics is clouding your judgement going in, why bother watching? Just declare the movie good or bad because of the subject material. It's about "slavery" so that makes it good if you are a 'liberal' and 'bad' if you are not. Right? I guess that will end the discussion right there.
